Threadbeast July 2016 Review + Coupon Code

ThreadBeast is an exclusive and diverse men’s streetwear subscription service that delivers a package of streetwear items to your doorstep once a month. Their technology personally caters to each user’s style preferences, sizes, and overall personality.  The box is perfect for people who don’t have time to shop or want to deal with the hassle of going to the store. The following subscription plans are available: Basic ($55/month) which includes 2-3 items – mainly tops and accessories, Essential ($85/month) which includes 4-5 items – mainly tops, bottoms and accessories and Premium ($135/month) which includes 6-7 items – mainly tops, bottoms, accessories and premium pieces including premium denim and outerwear. I reviewed the “Essential” package to review.

Threadbeast ships most packages within 4-8 days of order date.  Subsequent delivers will arrive on a monthly basis.

I should mention that Streetwear isn’t how I would describe my husband’s style (he’s more casual / preppy), so these pieces are a little outside of the box for him.

The box doesn’t include an information card (since it’s matches to your preferences everyone’s boxes will be different), but we received the following items in our “Essential” ThreadBeast package:

~Blvck Scvle Button Down: I couldn’t find this exact piece online, but similar pieces are selling for $120 – $140 on their website which is already more than the cost of the box.  It’s 100% cotton and is very well-made. It’s soft – not stiff or rigid and if you are looking to make a statement, this print is going to make it happen!

~Royal Blue Cargo Pants:  These pants are a cross between brown and olive green.  I can’t find these exact pants online, but bad on similar styles from the website, I would guess the value at around $25.  Again these are welll-made and much softer than I expected them to be.

~Hudson & Barrow NYC:  LOVE!  Now this is totally B.  It’s a soft nicely cut v-neck and will work with just about everything.  He needs more of these shirts ASAP!

~Pink + Dolphin Hat ($38): Hats are expensive!  My husband doesn’t wear hats so I had no idea.  This is an olive green in the “Waves” Snapback design.

~Aviator Sunglasses: I can’t remember the brand on these and B has claimed them (and hid them from me), so I can’t double check.  He obviously likes them and actually so do if. If he hadn’t already claimed them, I would have.

I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I can tell it was easily more than the $85 price. I believe that boxes generally have a value of 2x the retail price.  If this box matches your style I highly recommend checking it out.  And if you are going to sign up, use coupon code “RAMBLINGS50” to get an additional $50 of clothing in your first box (Essential and Premium Only).
