EggDrop July 2016 Subscription Box Review

EggDrop is a new subscription box for kids who love Shopkins™, Kinder™ eggs, blind bags, blind boxes or any other type of surprise toy. Each box will contain six mystery bags / eggs filled with surprise toys.

EggDrop ships via USPS and takes just a few days to arrive.

I get the Classic EggDrop, but they also have a Premium Subscription for $24.99/month.  The Premium subscription curates your child’s experience through the selection of brands and characters. Premium subscribers will also have access to customized notes, perfect for special occasions or just to say “I love you.”

The July 2016 EggDrop included the following items:

~My Little Pony Friendship Magic Blind Bag:  My older son (he’s 8) went through a bit of a My Little Pony stage (he loved those ponies), but he’s over that now.  I will likely pass this on to a friend’s daughter.

~Shopkins Fashion Tags: This blind bag included one fashion tag, one sticker, and one shopping.  Super cute but again not something that not boys are interested in.

~Secret Life of Pets 1″ Micro Clip-On: Now this is something my boys love.  And I do too.  Who doesn’t love Duke??  Totally the best kid’s movie I have seen in a long time.

~Shopkins Season 5: I was surprised to see two different Shopkins packs in here, but if you love Shopkins you were probably pretty happy.  These are another one I will end up passing along.

~Littlest Pet Shop Slap Bracelet:  Neither of my boys are into Littlest Pet Shop, but a slap bracelet is a slap bracelet, so my younger son (he’s 4) claimed this.

~Walking with Dinosaurs Blind Bag: This is another item my little one loved!  In fact, he carried it around for two days straight.  I think he even slept with it one night?  LOL!

I want to be able to customize my EggDrop, but I don’t necessarily want to pay $5 more for that option so I will be taking a break from them for a while.  I actually in June, but I missed have missed the deadline, so I ended up still getting the July box.

What do you think of EggDrop?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, you can check them out here.
