The Boodle Box (Two) September 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and an 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group (aka Boodle Box Two), but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Boodle Box ships via USPS. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I love.

The Boodle Box boxes are always so fun to unbox.

The September 2016 The Boodle Box theme was “#emoji Madness” and included the following items:

~Emoji Purse ($19.99): I love this emoji shoulder bag!   The chain is detachable, so you could also use it as a pouch if you’d prefer.  Emojis are so popular right now (a friend of mine just had an emoji-themed birthday party for her 6th-grade daughter) so this is right on trend.

~‘Nineties’ Headbands ($9): These are supposed to be a “throwback to the nineties” and maybe that’s why I love them so much?  LOL!  These are stretchy and don’t give me a headache like some headbands do.

~Be A Bombshell Silhouette Mascara ($6): I didn’t realize that Be A Bombshell had lowered their prices?  I swear this used to be around $20?  Anyway, this mascara is “Bourbon”, which is a little less dramatic than your standard Black mascara and great for this age group.

~Hashtag Necklace ($9.99): According to the information card this necklace is to be worn as a reminder to spend your time with connections that matter.  It will work with any #ootd and is #toocute.

~Balloonatic ($2.99): I so badly wanted to blow this up as soon as I opened the box, but I also didn’t want to waste it.  It’s designed to be a photo prop but would work for much more.  Also, it includes a plastic tube for easy inflating and deflating.  You don’t want to get helium to fill it up.

~NailArt 3-in-1 Pen ($2.99): FUN!  This pen is a 3-in-1 tool.  You can paint using the brush and use the micro-nib for finer details. Then, while nails are still wet, you can add glitter.

All totaled I came up with a value of $50.96 for the September 2016 The Boodle Box.  I say it every month, but I just love this subscription.  It’s so cute, and I would have gone crazy for this as a teen / tween.
