The August 2016 Treatsie box included the following items:

~Torn Ranch Macadamia Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookies:  Cookies are like my kryptonite.  I just can’t pass them up! I prefer the chocolate chip to the macadamia, but let’s be real, both were good.  Torn Ranch cookies are made with real butter, organic wheat flour and organic evaporated cane juice.

~Butterfields Cherry Buds and Muscadine Buds: Does anyone else love hard candy? I am sure that some people get disappointed to see hard candy in a sweets box, but not me.  I love them!  The Cherry Buds have a true cherry flavor and are such a treat!  The Muscadine Buds are a “wild grape” flavor.  Not your standard grape candy, but close.  Both were amazing.

~Avenue Sweets Caramel Assortment: The assortment included butter rum, cappuccino, chocolate, golden vanilla and sea salt.  I went straight for the sea salt and it didn’t disappoint!  The caramels are slow cooked in copper kettles using only fresh, premium ingredients. Delicious!

I never do a cost breakdown on Treatsie, but as usual, I will say that this isn’t a “value” subscription.  Instead, it’s a way to try a bunch of yummy snacks you may never have discovered otherwise.

I love your blog! I sent this as a gift to my brother in law last month. I subscribed June 16 and he got his box July 28. That is a long time to wait. I canceled due to not loving the items (odd lollipops and broken items). They then sent this box which I was charged for although it did say I canceled. I called and they fixed it so he got a free box. These items aren’t enough to warrant a $20 price tag though. I feel like the hard candies could be found at the Dollar Tree. The rest of the box is so-so. I think your review was spot on when you said it wasn’t a value subscription. My sister said she wouldn’t pay more than $5 or possibly $10 with shipping. There are so many better treat subscriptions out there.

I found this site and thought I would try it. I have seen so many people giving it such good reviews. I paid for my first box on Sept. 10 and the shipping was supposed to be between the 19th and 23rd. Well I am on October 10th and STILL have not seen or heard from this company! I have sent numerous emails with no response and there is no phone number on their website (big surprise). I would absolutely warn anyone against signing up!

Did you get the e-mail they sent out? I will try and find it and copy it in the comments.

      Dear Jennifer,
For the past 6-8 weeks, our subscribers have been given little to no communication while waiting for paid product beyond the expected arrival date. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that our lack of communication and shipping delays have caused you. We understand you deserve up to date information as well as smooth, uncomplicated service. What you have experienced over this time is unacceptable and we are working tirelessly to fulfill your orders and respond to inquiries.
Committing to transparency, we want to update you on how this happened. Our customer service and fulfillment were and are affected as we lost core team members unexpectedly. While transferring those duties, there was a delay in production of a September box item. We chose to wait for the item to ship a complete assortment instead of splitting the box into two shipments. We recognize these are not excuses for the silence you were given. All hands are on deck to fulfill orders. We now have a team member actively responding to customer service tickets, emails, and Facebook as quickly as possible.
Shipment update: We were able to get 800 + monthly boxes shipped last week. The rest of the September boxes will ship this week. You will receive an email confirmation when your box has shipped.
Add to Box orders including Mayana, Dave?s Sweet Tooth Toffee, or Colts Bolts are delayed. Orders have been placed to vendors but we have not received product yet. If you would like to have your monthly box shipped without your complete Add to Box order please email customerservice@treatsie.freshdesk.com. We will then ship your complete Add to Box order separately. All other Add to Box orders will ship this week. We appreciate your patience. We are working around-the-clock with our transportation providers and internal teams to ensure your orders are fulfilled as soon as possible.
      Sincerely,
      Keith Hoelzeman CEO & Co-founder

I have had issues with them also. Where my September box is is still unknown. I did get an email back finally telling me my add to box treats from last month will be in my October box. Still waiting for a reply to my latest email about my last box. Try emailing them again. The way I finally got a reply was to pick the option that there was a delivery problem with my last box. There is a phone number 501-420-1096.
