Bespoke Post September 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Slice"

Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. Box options this month are Retreat, Prost, Sizzle, and Terra. They also brought back “Canteen” and “Lumberjack” this month. I ended up opting for “Slice” which was an older box that was still available.

This month’s Bespoke Post shipped via UPS Mail Innovations and took just under a week to arrive. Boxes ship at various times throughout the month depending on which box you order.

This box was very heavy.

The Bespoke Post “Slice” Box included the following items:

~Soapstone Pizza Stone, (Dia.)12″ SPARQ Home ($44.95): This is the main reason I selected this box.  We so needed a new pizza stone!  Soapstone provides even heat distribution and a naturally nonstick surface.  I didn’t realize that these are handmade from salvaged soapstone.  Very cool.  We have cooked a few pizzas on it so far and have been loving it.  I wish it were a little large (maybe a 16″ diameter), but I guess you can’t have everything ;).

~Pizza Cutter, (L)8″ W&P Design ($15): Fantastic pizza wheel!  It cuts so nicely, and the wheel doesn’t get all caught up in the cheese.  And it’s remarkably good looking for a pizza cutter.

~00 Chef’s Flour, 1 kg Caputo ($3.49): I believe we received this flour in a Hamptons Lane box (or maybe it was Mantry). The information card includes a recipe to make the dough and it’s fabulous.

~Hot Honey, 12 oz Mike’s Hot Honey ($9.99): I have never tried hot honey on pizza, but they recommend you just drizzle it on the top after it comes out of the oven.  I’ll do it next time we make pizza, but only on a little bit just in case it’s not for me.

All totaled I came up with a value of $73.43 for the Bespoke Post “Slice” Box.  As I mentioned, I selected this box mainly for that amazing pizza stone.  Everything else was just a bonus!
