The September 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~MODELLAUNCHER Brow Duo Pencil ($12): This is a natural looking eyebrow pencil.  It’s described as having “the smoothness of a powder” with the “precision of a pencil.”  I pressed down on mine way to hard to get a swatch and broke it off.  Oops!  The consistency is almost like a chalk?  It’s not chalky, but it reminded me of the hardness of chalk.

~KORRES Modern Creek Apothecary Twist Lipstick (Allure) ($18): Colors will vary, but I received “Allure” which is a raspberry’s shade.  It’s made with natural ingredients and is creamy and long lasting.

~Vince Camuto Capri Eau de Parfum (.25fl.oz) ($6.25): I thought this looked familiar, but I looked back and realized that we received “Amore” in the October 2014 GLOSSYBOX, not the “Capri” in this box.  Capri is a “floral bouquet of peach blossom and violet notes” with a little citrus blended in.  I love the scent, and I love this gorgeous little bottle.

~Sesderma Sensyses Lightening Cleanser (0.5fl.oz) ($1.46) and C-Vit Moisturizing Serum (0.1fl.oz) ($5.20): This cleanser smells amazing. You apply it with a cotton pad, and it doesn’t sound like it needs to be rinsed off. After the cleanser, you follow with the C-Vit Serum. The serum “promotes an even, luminous glow and a brighter complexion while minimizing the appearance of fine lines, smoothing crows feet, and brightening dark circles.” I am all for all that and hope that this sample is big enough to give me some results.

~Sally Hershberger 24K Supreme Stylist Dry Shampoo (1.5oz) ($12): This dry shampoo is formulated with Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates.  It smells good, but I didn’t think it was such a great dry shampoo.  It gave me some texture, but I didn’t feel like it took the grease away.

The September 2016 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $54.91.  That’s on the low side for, but I didn’t dislike this box.  I liked that they included some new to me brands and I LOVED that gorgeous box design!

I have to say I now HATE GB. it is so ridiculous how you get such amazing boxes month after month after month I continue to get garbage I mean literally garbage. My boxes totally different except for the eyebrow pencil. I’m not kidding you I through almost everything Away. I’ve noticed the give. Bloggers awesome boxes and me something totally different and it’s making me mad now. Lol

Here it is, September 22nd and not only have I not received my box, according to the site, it hasn’t even been packed.

I sent an email in regards to the issue and was given an automated message stating due to an unusual large call and email volume, they would get back to me within 24-96 hours.

This was my first box and after this, it will probably be the only one I do purchase. I wish I’d read all the reviews about GB before hand.

I received make up remover, eye cream not the super expensive one listed above, the same eyeshadow crayon that I received last month or the month before in a horrendous muave color, the eyebrow pencil, really bad smelling face spray to be used as a refresher. Blah!!

I was not very happy with both my Glossyboxes. The colors they sent are very odd! I am a blond with green eyes and the eyebrow pencil is or never will be a color that a blond could use. It is taupe colored. And the eyeshadow is BLACK with glitter in it! Seriously for a blond!!! I don’t mind a little bold but that is ridiculous! Also both my profiles say I have problems with skin discoloration and I get the classic cleanser instead of the Lightning! Just not understanding what the point is in filling out a profile if they don’t even use it! Both my boxes were identical which was super disappointing. Two different profile settings! I have cancelled my subscriptions due to no one could possibly be taking my profile into consideration when packing my boxes. I love, love dry shampoo!! Really could have used the shampoo!!

I don’t get anything customized in ANY of my subscriptions, no matter how much they claim they are or will take your quizzes , feedback, whatever into consideration.

    Even wantable was wayyyy off.
