Birchbox Man October 2016 Subscription Box Review

Birchbox Man (as pictured here) is $20/month and sends you monthly deliveries of deluxe grooming and lifestyle samples, tailored to your profile. With Birchbox Man you can try cult brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between.

Birchbox Man ships via USPS (through Newgistics) and arrives within the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.

Our box was jam packed!

Yay!  Information cards are back. The last few months Birchbox Man didn’t print the box contents on the card and instead referred you to check online.  I prefer having it printed on the information card. The October 2016 Birchbox Man included the following items:

~Air Repair Super-Hydrating Eye Cream (3mL) ($4.60): I have gotten this in the past and have been very happy with it.  It reduces puffiness and also works (over time) to fight dark circles and wrinkles.

~Alternative Apparel The 50/50 Keeper Tee ($28): This tee was our lifestyle choice item this month.  I always pick tees for my husband when they are an option.  This one is soft and well-made, but I wish it were more fitted. It’s much more of a relaxed fit, and I thought it would be a slim fit.

~Davines Su Hair & Body Wash (75mL) ($6.75): This is both a body wash and a shampoo.  It has a light smell, and I love getting Davines in Birchbox boxes.

~Fatboy Hair Perfect Putty (No Size Listed) (~$3): At first glance, this looked dry, but it wasn’t at all.  It was actually on the sticky side.  It worked great and kept my eight year old’s hair in place very well without looking greasy or feeling stiff.

~Hanz de Fuko Scheme Cream (No Size Listed) (~$4): I was pretty surprised to get two hair products this month.  But between B and L (my eight-year-old) we’ll use them.  This one is a lighter weight product and gives you a bit of shine.

The October 2016 Birchbox Man had a value of $46.35.  This was a great box for us and had a fantastic value.
