GLOSSYBOX September 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon Codes
GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

This month’s box is a work of art.  The Illustrator is Antonio Soares who has worked with big name brands such as Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.  The design “embodies the undeniable connection between both the beauty and the fashion worlds.”

Seriously, it’s just beautiful.

I was almost spoiler free for this box!

The September 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~MODELLAUNCHER Brow Duo Pencil ($12): This is a natural looking eyebrow pencil.  It’s described as having “the smoothness of a powder” with the “precision of a pencil.”  I pressed down on mine way to hard to get a swatch and broke it off.  Oops!  The consistency is almost like a chalk?  It’s not chalky, but it reminded me of the hardness of chalk.

~KORRES Modern Creek Apothecary Twist Lipstick (Allure) ($18): Colors will vary, but I received “Allure” which is a raspberry’s shade.  It’s made with natural ingredients and is creamy and long lasting.

~Vince Camuto Capri Eau de Parfum (.25fl.oz) ($6.25): I thought this looked familiar, but I looked back and realized that we received “Amore” in the October 2014 GLOSSYBOX, not the “Capri” in this box.  Capri is a “floral bouquet of peach blossom and violet notes” with a little citrus blended in.  I love the scent, and I love this gorgeous little bottle.

~Sesderma Sensyses Lightening Cleanser (0.5fl.oz) ($1.46) and C-Vit Moisturizing Serum (0.1fl.oz) ($5.20): This cleanser smells amazing. You apply it with a cotton pad, and it doesn’t sound like it needs to be rinsed off. After the cleanser, you follow with the C-Vit Serum. The serum “promotes an even, luminous glow and a brighter complexion while minimizing the appearance of fine lines, smoothing crows feet, and brightening dark circles.” I am all for all that and hope that this sample is big enough to give me some results.

~Sally Hershberger 24K Supreme Stylist Dry Shampoo (1.5oz) ($12): This dry shampoo is formulated with Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates.  It smells good, but I didn’t think it was such a great dry shampoo.  It gave me some texture, but I didn’t feel like it took the grease away.

~Swatches:

~October GLOSSYBOX Sneak Peek: According to the information card in the September box, the October 2016 GLOSSYBOX will include an Emite Makeup Lip & Cheek Tint ($19 value).

The September 2016 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $54.91.  That’s on the low side for, but I didn’t dislike this box.  I liked that they included some new to me brands and I LOVED that gorgeous box design!
