Happy Rebel Box Fall 2016 Subscription Box Review

Happy Rebel Box ($100/quarter) is a seasonal subscription box that delivers hand-selected lifestyle pieces directly to your door. In each box, you’ll find a combination of hand-picked accessories, jewelry, household items, and more. With each box, Happy Rebel Box donates 10% of profits to carefully non-profit organizations.

Happy Rebel Box ships via USPS on a quarterly basis.

Happy Rebel Box has released quite a few spoilers for this box, and it made me even more excited to get my hands on it.

The Fall 2016 Happy Rebel Box theme was “Worked to the Bone” and included the following items:

~Golden Handled Scissors ($18): These scissors are gorgeous.  I have walked by the Nate Berkus gold scissors at Target many times and always wanted to get them.  I am so glad I didn’t though because now I have these beauties.  They will make opening subscription boxes so much fancier.

~Lauren Moshi Notebook ($39): Subscribers were able to choose between the Skull Heart Notebook or the Square Love Notebook.  I opted for the Square Love.  The artwork was hand drawn by Lauren, and the pages have a gorgeous gold lining.  I love notebooks and office supplies in general, so this box is totally hitting the mark for me so far.

~Acrylic and Gold Russell+Hazel Stapler ($20): I own the Kate Spade version of this acrylic stapler (I think I got it from the Birchbox shop actually), and I love it!  This one actually seems rose gold in certain lighting, which makes it even more gorgeous.  It’s made out of a heavy cast clear acrylic combined with gold-toned hardware.  This will dress-up any desk!

~Acrylic and Gold Russell+Hazel Tape Dispenser ($18.97): GORGEOUS!  I love it!  Again this is made out of a heavy cast clear acrylic combined with gold-toned hardware.  I already have this on my desk.

~Raindrop Paperclips ($6):  These can be used as your standard paperclip, or you can use them as bookmarkers.  They even make great placeholders in your planner.

~Gold Foil Embossed Skull Art Prints ($42): These are a Happy Rebel Box exclusive!  I wasn’t sure how to use them at first, but I am thinking they will make AMAZING Halloween decorations.  These in some plain black frames from the dollar store will be fantastic.

~D. L. & Co. Boxed Stationery Sets (Naughty & Nice) ($50): Subscribers were able to choose between the Naughty & Nice set, the Rotten Luck set, or the Skull set.  I opted for the Naughty & Nice set, and they cracked me up.  There is a “nice” and a “naughty” version of each of the cards (Get Well, I Miss You, etc.).  I have some friends who will get such a kick out of the naughty version of these.  They are Italian die-cut, embossed and have self-sealing envelopes.

All totaled the Fall 2016 Happy Rebel Box had a value of $193.97.  This box was edgy, and I loved it. As I noted above, I absolutely love office supplies, so I knew that this box would be a complete win for me.  I should also mention that five lucky subscribers will also receive a Gold Metal Pen ($24) from russell&hazel as a bonus item!
