Jacob's Crate August 2016 Subscription Box Review

Jacob’s Crate is a monthly box subscription service for dogs and cats. Each Jacob’s Crate contains 4-6+ FURR-tastic toys and treats for your dog or cat.

Jacob’s Crate ships on the 5th of every month. You must sign up by the last day of the month to get a box the following month.

Well, this was a nice surprise to open up and see!

I don’t have a cat, but my brother does.  Three to be exact. I have never seen all of them in the same room at once, but he swears there are three.

The August 2016 Jacob’s Crate included the following items:

~Signed Picture: Jacob’s Dad was kind enough to send a signed picture of him and Jacob.  Wasn’t that sweet? LOL!

~Play Independently Frazzled Fairy: Both my husband and my eight-year-old son thought this was Patrick (from Sponge Bob), but it’s really the “Frazzled Fairy.”  It has a long shape for easy carrying, and it’s sort of floppy so your cat and bat it around.

~Fat Cat Fluffy Bunnies ($2.69): Well I don’t know what my brother’s cats think about this toy, but my dog loves it. LOL!  It has catnip inside, and I had to move the box so Buddy would stop messing with it.

~Cosmic Catnip Catnip Supernova ($4.14): This releases catnip for hours of rewarding play. Like with most pet toys, it’ll all going to depend on what your specific cat thinks about this.  Some will love it; some will just be meh about it.

~Feline Greenies Dental Treats – Ocean Fish Flavor ($1.94): These treats are designed to clean your cat’s teeth and freshen breath. They also help to reduce tarter and overall oral hygiene as well.

~Maui Meowi Karrot Catnip Toy: This toy has catnip inside, and I think it’s my favorite item in here.  My four-year-old did think it was a pretend play carrot, though.  It does look like one!

I couldn’t do a full breakdown for the August 2016 Jacob’s Crate, but I think the value is pretty close to the cost of the box on this one.  I tend to find that pet boxes, in general, don’t have the highest values.  It was a solid box, and my brother’s cats are pleased.
