Kaffe Box No. August 2016 Subscription Box Review
Kaffe Box No. is a coffee subscription service that focuses on the best coffee from Scandinavia’s top micro-roasteries.

Kaffe Box No. ships from Norway on a monthly basis.

Each package includes information about the coffee inside, however, it’s not in English. Luckily the information card is.  This month’s featured roaster was “Jacu“, which is located in Norway.  The box included the following coffees:

~Kenya Ndocha: This coffee comes from Ndocha Estate in Kiambu, Kenya.  The taste profile is “vanilla aroma, rhubarb and apricot flavor with rich jam like mouth feel”.  B always takes coffees from subscription boxes to work to share and I hear this one was a big hit.  Ndocha Estates employs 10-12 workers in the off-season and up to 80 during the high-season.

~Las Lajas: Las Lajas is located in the Sabanilla de Alajuela region of Costa Rica.  The beans are grown on a family farm by third generation producers.  The taste profile is “orange blossoms aroma, floral black tea and sweet cookie flavor, silky and crisp body”.
