MissionCute is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least two items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses. Every month they also partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission. 50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen (you can vote on it) monthly nonprofit (this month’s partner is The WARM Place) and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.

I love seeing what MissionCute puts in their boxes!
The August 2016 MissionCute partner was The WARM Place, which is a non-profit organization that provides bi-weekly peer-support groups for children and their families after the death of a loved one.
The box contained the following items:
~Triangle Hair Clip ($12): I thought this was a pin / broach at first. A hair clip makes much more sense. It doesn’t work to hold my hair back (I think my hair is too thin / straight), but it looks cool as a decorate piece.
~Candelles Fig and Sugar Soy Tarts ($5): This scent is a blend of fresh fig and passion fruit, mixed with vanilla, maple sugar, and musk. It’s amazing. And the timing is perfect because I need some new tarts!
~Sparrow Necklace Starfish Project ($27.99): Not only is this a great necklace, but Starfish Project is a great company too. The Starfish Project is a non-profit organization with a social enterprise that cares for women coming out of human trafficking and exploitation.
~Midnight Breeze Scarf ($16): This is a gorgeous blue infinity scarf. It’s lightweight and will help keep some of the fall chill away (well, as soon as it gets chilly here anyway).
~Sweet Intensions Strawberries & Cream Bath Bomb ($8): I didn’t know it, but Sweet Intensions is the first bath bomb subscription box! You can also purchase their 100% cruelty-free & vegan-friendly bath bombs separately in their shop. All products are made handmade with love & natural ingredients.
~Just Be Kind 5×7 Print ($9): MissionCute often sends prints in their boxes, nd they are usually quote ones. This one is fabulous and a great reminder!
All totaled the August 2016 MissionCute had a value (per the information card) of $77.99. I enjoy their picks and always think they do well with their mission to send cute goodies.
