If you aren’t familiar, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!
POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.
I think this is the first time (in the four years I have subscribed) that I was spoiler free for POPSUGAR! Eeek!!!
The September 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box, which was inspired by “bold * indulgent * glamorous *eye-catching”, included the following items:
~Jack & Lucy Bicoastal Wide Brim Hat ($58): I am not a hat person (except maybe at the beach), so this is totally not something I would pick out on my own. But you know what, that’s okay, and that’s why I love subscription boxes. I am going to wear this hat this fall with some oversize sunglasses. It’s adjustable so it should fit most size heads, and all subscribers will receive the black hat.
~NCLA MANI-ER Tool Kit ($16): I was way too excited about this. This is such a nice mani kit and will be fantastic for traveling. In fact, I am going to toss it in my purse, so I always have it with me.
~Briogeo Don’t Dispair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($36): Briogeo is a regular in beauty subscription boxes (like Birchbox), but I don’t believe I have ever gotten such a large tub. This mask will last forever. It has a pudding-like consistency (and not much of a scent) and works in minutes to repair dry, brittle and over-processed hair. I don’t know that I have ever used it every week (as recommended) for multiple weeks, but I have felt like it has improved the health of my overprocessed hair. I can’t wait to see how my hair looks after I use it every week though.
~flint Lint Roller ($9.99): flint is the only retractable lint roller. It’s refillable (YES!) and is designed to fit in your purse. That is right where mine is headed. We’ve never gotten anything like this in a subscription box before, but it’s super useful, so I am thrilled.
~Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer (The Warning) ($22): POPSUGAR featured Smith & Cult in their Winter (I believe) Limited Edition Box and I have been obsessing over their gorgeous packaging ever since. All subscribers will receive “The Warning” which is a “sheer cardinal + gold micro shimmer”. It looks so bold inside the tube, but it really isn’t at all. It’s actually just about the perfect fall shade.
~The Gluten Free Bites Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites ($4.99): My husband tried these for me (I don’t like coconut, so I knew right away I wouldn’t be into them) and he wasn’t a fan. They are vegan and gluten-free and are made without GMO’s or dairy, which I know a lot of people will love.
All totaled the September 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of $146.98. This box felt a little more daring (mainly because of the hat) than some recent POPSUGAR boxes have, but I am okay with that. I know a lot of people are tired of scarves and jewelry, and a fall hat is a new accessory for POPSUGAR to include!
