BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet, and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

Loved this first look!

The October 2016 BarkBox was Halloween themed and included the following items:

~PetPlay Bewitching Broomstick ($10.50): Buddy (my Yorkie) went absolutely crazy for this broomstick.  The stick squeaks and it’s the most perfect tug-of-war toy ever.  I haven’t seen Buddy go this crazy for a toy in a long time.  This was a total win!

~Ghouls Gobblers Duck and Pumpkin Dog Treats ($6): These treats are grain-free, made in the USA and have maybe the cutest packaging of any dog treats that I have seen.  They are shaped like little ducks which I thought was pretty cute too.

~Caru Beef Recipe Baked Bites ($7.01): These treats are soft and chewy and are made with real beef, blueberries, and cranberries.  Buddy loves them.  They are made in the USA and contain no grain, gluten-free, corn, wheat or soy.

~Butcher’s Block Bones (2 PCS Doggie Delights) (~$3): These specifically say “Do Not Use on Carpets” and they aren’t kidding.  It’s happened before, and it makes a mess.  Buddy will love it though (and will probably take it on the carpet the second he gets it).

~Rest in Pieces Tombstone ($12): LOL!  The headstone says “R.I.P. Here Lies Squirrel”.  Buddy loves to chase squirrels, but happily, he has never even come close to catching one. This has squeakers inside, and if it were a tad bigger I bet Buddy would try and nap on it because it’s so soft!

All totaled I came up with a value of $38.51 for the October 2016 BarkBox.  I swear, BarkBox just keeps getting better and better, and Buddy can’t say enough good things about that broomstick ;).

My dogs got the same box 🙂 Bootzie went crazy over the graveyard toy, she loves squeakers. My friends dog went nuts over the broomstick. I don’t know what it is about the Bark Box toys but they always love them.

Hi, my dog absolutely loves the tombstone toy. But he chewed it up and took the tombstone out. Anyways I know the description says that there is seven squeakers. However, I only felt six , which is the pockets on the grass infront of the tombstone. Does your tombstone have 7 sqeakers and if so where?
