Fortune Cookie Soap is one of the most creative subscription boxes out there. From their theme to their product names to their descriptions, they don’t miss a detail.
The Winter 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “Through The Wardrobe” and included the following items:
~Always Winter OCD Hand Sanitizer: Always Winter has notes of evergreen fir needles, warm cinnamon, crisp cranberries, apple curls and cedarwood. I put it on and couldn’t stop smelling my hands. I do want to mention that this has glitter in it and will leave your hands slightly sparkly.
~Father Christmas Whipped Cream: Father Christmas has notes of juniper bush, “frosty snow” and vanilla cupcakes. It’s an interesting scent. At first, I just smelled the cupcakes, but as I had it on longer, I picked up the juniper. The cream itself has the consistency of a whipped frosting. It’s delightful.
~Sweeties Fortune Cookie Soap: Sweeties has notes of traditional rosewater, toasted pistachios, amaretto and buttery cookies. I picked up a lot of the rosewater in here and not much else. These make for amazing guest bathroom soaps. The thing is they are so cute that no one will want to use them!
~Dream of a Dream Dusting Powder: Dream of a Dream has notes of lavender, vanilla, soft musk and patchouli. It left my skin silky smooth and wasn’t messy to apply at all.
~Lion’s Breath Perfume Oil: Lion’s Breath has notes of winter frost, fir needles, sweet nectar and ripened pomegranates. I was expecting a heavy scent, but that’s not the case at all. It’s wintery, and while I love it as a perfume oil, I can’t even imagine how incredible this would be as a candle. I want everything I own to smell like this.
~Hide and Seek Whipped Soap: Hide and Seek combines the scents of dark chocolate covered espresso beans, allspice, and a light coconut cream. It’s a smooth soap and can be used as a body wash or as a shaving cream. Whipped Soap is one of my favorites from Fortune Cookie Soap. It feels so luxurious.
~Deep Magic Shampoo Bar: Deep Magic is a blend of rosemary, fresh garden herbs, and revitalizing mint. Shampoo bars are a little tricky to use at first – you have to separate your hair into sections – but the results are worth it. My hair looked and felt amazing after I used this.
~Small Favors Pedi-Bomb: The Pedi-Bomb is the only item I have yet to try. Small Favors is a blend of warm honey, tobacco pipe, and citrus slices. It’s probably my least favorite scent of the bunch, but I could use a pedicure!
