Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for men and women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.
Stitch Fix Men shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive.
Meh. B (my husband) and I weren’t too sure about these pieces.
This is B’s second Stitch Fix Men, so his Stylist mentioned our likes / dislikes from his previous Fix and went over her choices for this Fix.
B’s October 2016 Stitch Fix Men included the following items:
~Ezekiel Fairmont Dobby Shirt ($57): B wasn’t a fan of this shirt. The material was great (it was super soft), but the pattern was a miss. Plus the shirt was tight across his chest. Verdict: Returned.
~Threads 4 Thought Tacoma Knapp Hoodie ($59): We both loved this hoodie. It was cozy and comfortable and fit B perfectly. Sadly B doesn’t wear hoodies enough to need this new one, so it’s going back. Verdict: Returned.
~Threads 4 Thought Redmond Jersey Henley ($68): This is another great piece, but it’s just not something that B will wear often enough. It’s really heavy and well made and perfect for the season. Verdict: Returned.
~JACHS Escondido Two Pocket Shirt ($95): This was a big miss. The pattern just isn’t B and the shirt was way too tight in the arms. The sleeves are supposed to be rolled up above the elbow, but there was no way that was happening. Verdict: Returned.
~Mavi Jake Sporty Slim Leg Jean ($118): The jeans were the first thing B commented on in this Fix. He called them “dorky.” And then he put them on and looked amazing in them. They are lightweight and soft and have a tiny amount of stretch to them. Totally love these! Verdict: Kept.
B’s October 2016 Stitch Fix Men was a mixed fix (LOL). It had a few pieces he loved but didn’t need, a few pieces he disliked and one piece he thought he’d hate, but loved ;). Overall, I think they need a good job with his style and feel like the fixes will only get better once they get to “know” him better.
