October 2016 LillyPost Review

Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends beautiful children’s books and other goodies to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will eagerly open hand-wrapped packages and discover carefully curated books, a lovely little note and stickers for fun! They offer two options so you can choose the box that best suits the age of your child. Their Board Book Box is perfect for ages 0-2 and their Picture Book Box is great for ages 3+.

Lillypost ships via USPS on a monthly basis.

OMG adorable!

All of the books (I received the picture book option) arrived wrapped in the most gorgeous wrapping paper. The wrapping paper was almost stretchy (I don’t know how else to describe it) and I considering saving it for a brief second until I realized that might be a little crazy.

The October 2016 Lillypost included the following items:

~This Book Just Ate My Dog (Amazon Price: $9.04): This book is creative and W (my 4-year-old) thought it was so fun to try and figure out what happened to the dog.  The dog disappears into the book – one page he’s there and the next page he’s gone!  And then everyone else who helps disappears into the crack of the book as well.  You had to shake the book to make them reappear which we thought was so funny.

~Goodnight Songs: A Celebration of the Seasons (Amazon Price: $11.31): This book has a collection of fun songs plus accompanying CD.  As great as these songs are, I think teh illustrations are even better.

~Yeti and The Bird (Amazon Price: $16.36): This is the sweet story of a hairy beast and a little bird.  Unlike everyone else, the bird isn’t scared of the giant yeti and the two form a beautiful friendship. It just goes to show that it does matter what someone looks like – it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

~Fletcher’s Big Show (Amazon Price: $6.63): Rabbit can’t sing, or chirp, or even croak, so together with her friends she comes up with an idea to dazzle at the talent show.  Great artwork and a sweet story.

All totaled the October 2016 Lillypost had a value of $43.34 (that’s using Amazon Pricing which is hard to beat).  The book selection was fabulous, the presentation was amazing and the value was great.  All in all, I thought this box was a winner!
