The December 2016 BOXYCHARM had an assortment of box variations this month so I was anxious to see which I’d receive.

The December 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Makeup on Pointe” and included the following items:

~Pure Cosmetics Buff Collection Palette ($50): Amazing.  This alone is worth the cost of the box.  I receive the “Nude Collection” in my Fall 2016 FabFitFun Box and am no where close to finishing it up so I gifted this one.  It has “12 wearable shades inspired by the popular smokey eye trend”.  Pure Cosmestics shadows are paraben free, silicone free, fragrance free, not tested on animals and contain  no triclosans.  This palette seemed easier to open than the “Nude Collection” one too.  I was afraid I was going to break that one, but I wasn’t worried at all with this one.

~Butter London Nail Polish  (Ruby Murray)($15): This is SO me!  It’s a deep berry creme and is just beautiful. I am not wearing any polish right now (this is so rare for me), but I have been washing my couch and my nails would get destroyed taking off the covers / putting them back on.  This is going on tomorrow though.  For sure.

~OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick ($19.90):  Hmm, I don’t know about this!  It’s SO dark and, well, purple.   The liquid lipstick itself is nice – it’s long lasting and doesn’t dry out your lips, but this color is too much for me.

~Makeup Eraser The Makeup Eraser Mini ($12): The Makeup Eraser has been a subscription box regular lately.  It really does work and removes makeup with just water. I haven’t counted to see how long mine has lasted, but the package says it is good for over 1,000 uses. That’s over a year even if you use it 2x a day!

~IBY Beauty Lip Liner Pencil ($14): I am not a lip liner fan, but I do like this color.  It can also be worn all over the lips, which I might have to try with a layer of clear gloss on top.

All totaled the December 2016 BOXYCHARM had a value of $110.90.  That’s AMAZING.  Even though there were a few misses (well, really just the liquid lipstick), this box was still a huge hit and well worth the money. I have no idea how BOXYCHARM does it, but I love it!
