Decor Steals Christmas Surprise Box Review

The Decor Steals Mystery Box shipped via FedEx Smart Post and, once shipped, took about a week to arrive.  All boxes are different (at least I think they are), so you won’t receive an information card.  My box included the following items:

~Wooden Berry Basket ($31.95): I love this!  I’m not sure where I will put it in my house yet, but I’ll find a spot for it.  It’s 18″ Wide x 14.25″ Deep x 10.5″ High, so it’s on the larger side and will hold a ton of berries ;).

~Christmas Glitter Wreath ($24.99): The amount of glitter on this wreath is unreal.  There was a ton of glitter in the bottom of the box, a ton comes off when I touch it, move it, look at it wrong, you get the idea.  I am going to hang it somewhere though (maybe outside) because I do think it’s pretty.

~Give Thanks Pillow (~$10): I can’t find this exact pillow on Decor Steals so I estimated the price.  It has a vintage feedsack feel and will be great in my living room year round.

~Decor Steals Decorative Ice Skates ($19.99): These are the only item in the box I’m not too sure about.  They are 5” Wide x 7”High and while I think they are cute (maybe quirky is the right word), I am not 100% sure how to style them.  Decor Steals shows them with holly berries, but they may work for me as a little under the tree decoration or on my mantle with some greenery in it.  We’ll see.

All totaled my Decor Steals Christmas Surprise Box had a value of $86.93.  I wasn’t as blown away by this box as I was expecting, but it’s possible I built it up way too much in my head.  I would certainly buy it the next time it was offered that’s for sure.

Did you get a Decor Steals Mystery Box?  If so what was inside and what did you think?  As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but Decor Steals has new deals up daily.

I love this! So sad I missed out on a box 🙁 Do you have their instagram page where I can stalk and see what other people will be getting? LOL.

I would not be too disappointed. I ordered a box and was charged on 11/24 and as of today– 23 days later — surprise–no box, no shipping date, nothing but 3 or 4 form emails telling me the next 24-48 hours I will surely hear something. I was excited and now I am downright upset. I am thinking left overs put in a box. Very disappointing.

I actually never got a shipping notice. Do you use the FedEx “Delivery Manager” feature? It lets you see every package coming to your house that shipped via FedEx (this starts as FedEx and is delivered by the Post Office). It showed up in there and got here about a week later. It ships from Texas.

This box is a winner: no candles, no throws, no baskets, and otherwise boring box fare. Instead it’s nicely winter themed and creative. My favorite is the skates, super cute!

Love this! Yes! What a steal! So sorry to have missed out on this! I just order the Antique Farm House box you featured! First time I’ve seen that site! Love it! Hope I get some great vintage items.
