The December 2016 GlobeIn Benefit Basket included the following items:
~Hand-Crocheted Beanie by Krochet Kids, Uganda ($30): Subscribers received this in either blush or black. I received the black and I am thrilled! It’s stylish and goes with everything. It’s 100% Acrylic and made in Uganda. Their program “combines a fair and consistent income to alleviate poverty immediately and capacity building training to address the future needs of the beneficiaries”. According to their website they commit to working with each crocheter for a minimum of 3 years so that they can provide the highest quality of training and mentorship.
~GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico ($12): Every GlobeIn Benefit Basket includes the signature palm leaf basket. Colors (and styles) do vary, but this is the “basket” portion of the box. They can be used for anything from storing toiletries in your bathroom to using as a gift box.
