ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

The December 2016 ipsy theme was “carpe p.m.” and included the following items:

~The Bag: The bag this month is one of my favorite’s to date.  It’s a fun hot pink faux fur.   The inside is gold and is a cross between vinyl and satin. It looks like it will be easy to clean and with the strap on here this could easily double as a wristlet.

~Cake Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair Balm (1oz) ($5.50): “Cake” Heavy Cream is everything I expected it to be.  It smells like vanilla cake and is rich and hydrating.  And did I mention it smelled amazing?

~OUAI Wave Spray (1oz) ($5.20): OUAI Wave Spray is a lightweight texture spray.  It’s absolutely fantastic and it’s one of my favorite hair products.  My hair gets too soft without some sort of product like this in it, so getting more is always a win.

~Benefit The POREfessional (3ml) ($4.23): The POREfessional is designed to minimize pores & fine lines.  You can wear it under makeup or alone.  I prefer it alone or under a BB cream.  It’s slightly tinted and is super lightweight so it doesn’t feel like you have anything on at all.

~tarte cosmetics tarteist™ glossy lip paint in wcw (1mL) ($3.33): Such a pretty color!  It’s a tad bold for me, but I am loving it.  It’s not sticky and the staying power is amazing.

~Aurora Intensively Precise Eyeliner (Cinnamon) ($7.99):  I am not a big eyeliner fan so I will be passing this one on to a friend.  It was easy to apply though and is Alcohol, Paraben and Perfume-free.

All totaled my December 2016 ipsy had a value of $26.25.  That’s actually quite a low value for ipsy, but I loved this bag!
