Japan Candy Box ships at the end of the month.  If you order anytime during the month, your box will ship that month. However, since they ship from overseas, it does take some time (a few weeks) to arrive.

My box got a little beat up during shipping, but everything inside was just fine.

The November 2016 Japan Candy Box included the following items:

~Bourbon Choco Anpan Bread Cookies: From the looks of these I expected them to be breadstick hard.  But they have a consistency similar to a dinner roll.  They were okay, but I can’t say I would snack on them in place of cookies.

~Rilakkuma Cookie Sticks: These cookie sticks are covered in frosting and are delicious!  I don’t understand how this is, but they don’t leave your hands all messy when eating them either.

~Puccho Strawberry Chewy Candy: These are soft and milky candy pieces is embedded with chewy fruit gummy bits.  I thought they were a bit odd (I didn’t like the mixing of textures), but L (my eight-year-old) loved them.

~Meigum Candy Apple Soft Candy: These were amazing!  In a hard candy, I think these would have been my favorite candy in the box.  They have a true caramel apple taste, and I loved them.

~Kabaya Shaka Shaka Gummy: This snack was interesting.  LOL!  They are gummy candies (in cola, grape, soda and lemon flavors), but also include a pack of hardening powder. You can add the pack to the bag, shake it up and boom; they turn into hard candies. I have no idea how this works (and probably don’t want to know), but my kids thought they were cool.

~Kracie Nyoki Nyoki Kororon DIY Candy Kit: I am saving this candy kid for a stocking stuffer for my boys. They think they are so fun to make.  This kit lets you press your own sweet candy swirls which are sweet and soft inside and grape, orange or melon flavored outside.  I never find the candy kit candies to taste great, but we love making them.
