The packaging was so festive this month!

The December 2016 S & G Beauty Box included the following items:

~Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum ($36): This brow serum is “formulated to help fortify hair growth and encourage fuller looking brows.”  My brows don’t seem to grow like they used to (too much overplucking) so I am very curious about this.  I will try it for a few months, and hopefully, I will get some results.

~Pretty Woman Nail Sequins Manicure Set ($7.99): I had high hopes for this, but it’s just not working for me.  And I now have glitter everywhere.  LOL!!!  I figured it would be messy, but it’s MESSY!  To use it you are supposed to put on a coat of the included clear polish, then dip in the glitter, wait 20 seconds and then press the glitter in.  I did all that and just have a glittery mess, and glitter stuck all over my fingers and everything else.  It’s possible I just need more practice, but I will be doing this outside next time.

~Duo Eye Brush by Pure Anada Cosmetics ($9): One end of this brush is a fine-tipped angled liner brush while the other is a shadow brush.  It’s vegan, cruelty-free and all-natural.

~The Mixologist by Au Naturale Cosmetics ($25): This is to be worn over your favorite shade for a little-added dimension and “luminescence”.  It will change up the look of any of your current lipsticks (matte or gloss) and can also be worn alone for a dewy look.  You can even use it as a highlighter for your face.  This is formulated without gluten, parabens, fillers, animal by-products, synthetic preservatives or toxins, and is 100% natural, cruelty-free, vegan and made in the USA.

~St. Tropica Organic Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask ($3.99): This mask “repairs hairs damage from the inside-out, while revitalizing & strengthening dry or damaged hair.”  My hair is looking pretty good these days (except for my roots), but winter will take its toll, and I will need this soon enough.

All totaled I came up with a value of $81.98 for the December 2016 S & G Beauty Box.  That’s well over 2x the cost of the box and a fantastic value!  I wanted that nail glitter to work for me, but I guess you can’t win them all.
