~Good evening! We had a nice calm weekend here. Saturday was spent running errands and *trying* to make Gingerbread houses. Today L had a ninja showcase thing and we went out to a quick dinner. We also got a washing machine this weekend which was the real excitement around here. It works like a dream and we got a great deal so it was a win-win.
~I tried the Starbucks Fruitcake Frappuccino the other day (I just wanted the free sweater cozy) and you know what? It wasn’t that bad. I mean, it wasn’t THAT good either, but it wasn’t as awful as I thought it would be. It tasted like oatmeal cookies. At least mine did.
~Has anyone heard of “Beauty Pie“? It’s a new $10 monthly subscription service that lets you buy “all your makeup without the markup”. It reminds me a bit of the (now closed) From the Lab, but for about 1/3 of the price. I’m not going to subscribe right away, but I am going to watch this one!

Is that what you were supposed to do for the sweater? The people at my friggen Starbucks told me I had to buy this box of like 8 gross ugly sweater cookies. Even though they only had one box left and tons of sweaters left…. it seemed fishy but I wanted the sweater.

Wow… I just spent 30 minutes looking at the Beauty Pie site. I am so tempted. Just one 3 month plan and one makeup purchase would be a good value, if the products are good. Not sure I can resist this one…
I asked about the sweaters and the person just tried to sell me cookies and had no idea what I was talking about!! Grr
