Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over four years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.

The January 2017 Birchbox included the following items:
~ARROW ENDURE Water-Resistant Mascara (0.12oz / 3.5g) ($9.23): This Birchbox branded ARROW mascara just isn’t my favorite. It seemed goopy and wasn’t very lengthening for me. I typically don’t go for water-resistant mascaras anyway, though.
~Burt’s Bees Lipstick Brimming Berry (full-size) ($9): This color is gorgeous! To me, it seemed to feel like more of a balm than a lipstick which I loved. I don’t wear lipstick, but I will wear this.
~NUXE Moisturizer Cream Crème Fraiche® de Beauté (0.5oz) ($11.33): This cream absorbed quickly and made my skin feel extra soft. It has an oddly strong scent to it, though. It’s not necessarily a bad scent, just strong. Almost a plant-like floral? It’s hard to describe.
~Pixi by Petra Glow Tonic To-Go (~$1): Love love love! For some reason, I don’t feel like my skin is really clean unless I use a toner. In addition to toning, these also brighten and remove dead skin cells. They aren’t harsh and didn’t irritate my skin at all.
~Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment (5mL) ($17.50): This lactic acid treatment exfoliates dead skin cells, plumps fine lines, evens out hyperpigmentation, and boosts your skin’s glow factor. I just started using it and can only hope I end up thinking it’s as amazing as everyone else says it is in a few weeks. I can’t wait!
All totaled my I came up with a value of $48.06 for the January 2017 Birchbox. This was an AMAZING box for me. I loved it. LOVED it.
