Lip Monthly ships via USPS and is supposed to ship within the first ten days of the month. I find that sometimes (most of the time) it ships a bit later than that.
The January 2017 Lip Monthly included the following items:
~The Bag: This month’s bag is white with black dots and a yellow (almost green) bottom. The back (front?) is white with the Lip Monthly logo on the bottom. It’s a thinner bag, and I feel like it could get dirty real quick, so be gentle with it.
~Hola Neon Liquid Lipstick (full-size) (Lavender Soul) ($17): This is a great gloss (I like the texture and is has nice staying power), but I’m not sure about this color. It’s so bold! It’s a “unique rosy, lavender shade with cold undertones.” It may just be too bold for me.
~Lord & Berry Crayon (Black Red) ($10): I received this in “Black Red” which is a very wearable shade. Super pretty!
~Manna Kadar LipLocked Priming Lipstick (Bliss) ($24): This is a primer and lipstick in one and is designed to last all day! The color is a tad too something (it’s almost a peachy / mauve), but I think if I layer something else on it I can make it work. It’s also Paraben Free, Cruelty-Free and Allergy Tested.
~Jelly Pong Pong Liptensity Hydrating Lip Gloss (Necessity) ($19.95): Now this is also a bold color, but I love it! I’d call it a raspberry pink. It’s hydrating and super glossy. It’s also Vegan, Hypoallergenic, Non-comedogenic and contains no Mineral Oil, Parabens, Phthalates or Gluten.
~Swatches:
All totaled I came up with a value of $70.95 for the January 2017 Lip Monthly bag. A few of the colors were a miss for me, but the value was outstanding!
