~Good morning! Let’s see, what’s going on here? L got a Snow Day (well an ice day) on Tuesday and was beyond thrilled about it. We absolutely were not expecting it which made it all the better! W has a cold / cough and hasn’t been sleeping super great so I kept him home from school yesterday. He’s okay as long as he’s not running around, but try telling a 4 year-old not to run around like crazy ;).

~I went to WalMart in search of Green Giant riced veggies yesterday and while they didn’t have any (I think there is some issue because the frozen foods man at Kroger says they haven’t gotten them in weeks and Walmart doesn’t have them either), I did find some leggings! No Valentine’s leggings, but they did have St. Patrick’s Day ones. For $5.88 I’ll take them ;).

~Also at Walmart we came across a poop emoji “mermaid” pillow.  L was all over it.  I have always wanted a mermaid pillow, but didn’t know what I’d do with it and didn’t want to pay $$$$ for it. But for just $9.94 how could we pass this up? They had a few different solid colors, a heart one, this emoji one, etc. Who knew??

~It’s been a slow subscription box week, but I still should be getting Lip Monthly, Mine Chest, all the Kiwi Crate boxes, Five Four Club, Stitch Fix, Something Snacks, BarkBox and a bunch of others! I also really (like REALLY) need to get the subscription box list updated and I am hoping that’s going to happen this weekend.

~I was thinking about putting together a fun fitness themed giveaway for January and wanted some suggestions on what you’d like to see in it.  Any gadgets you are curious about?  Workout clothing your loving?  I’d love some ideas!

That’s it from here! Have a great day!!

Spread the love

I love that pillow! Now I want to see if any of my local Walmarts have them. 🙂

      LOL!!!

Kinda bummed about no Valentine’s leggings…guess that means St. Patrick’s Day leggings here I come! Haha!

A fitness themed giveaway is a great idea! I think you should include some at-home workout equipment like a foam roller, resistance bands, or ab mat. Ooh, and maybe a cute tote/duffel for heading to the gym. I’m totally loving the sports bras and workout leggings from Victoria’s Secret these days. The waistband on the leggings stay put which is awesome.

      Good ideas!!

And I know! Why no Valentines? They had Halloween and Christmas and now St. Patrick’s Day. So weird!

Those St. Patrick’s leggings would be great for the party I work every year. I guess I’ll need to suck it up and go into our WalMart here. I like going to other WalMart”s but ours is always dirty and stinks. I have heard their no boundaries leggings are comparable to Lu La Roe leggings. What do you think?

They are very similar! The material is super soft, but the waistband is smaller. It’s not the wide LLR waistband. But for $6, you can’t really beat it. They wash great too.

I cant wait to check out those leggings next weekend. I love St. Patrick’s day anything.

I think a fitness themed giveaway would be awesome. I think a foam roller would be a great item in the giveaway along with a foot roller ( http://www.amazon.com/Gaiam-Restore-Ultimate-Massage-Roller/dp/B00LY9P67S). Maybe a Lululemon gift card or a water bottle that keeps track of your intake ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001EGGQB6/?tag=bfhealth-19&ascsubtag=3546993%2C13%2C32%2Cdesktop%2Csallytamarkin%2Chealth) or a smoothie container that you can take with you ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004P2OLB8/?tag=bfhealth-19&ascsubtag=3546993%2C10%2C32%2Cdesktop%2Csallytamarkin%2Chealth) or even sweat proof ear buds ( http://www.jaybirdsport.com/shop/x3-product/). Maybe a subscription box for work out clothes or healthy snacks.
