Friday’s Letters

Dear MSU, Nice win last night! Hopefully, this means the season is turning around and you are no longer on the bubble.

Dear B, We still miss you! And thanks for always keeping me sane. Or trying to anyway.

Dear Buddy, I know, I know, you need a friend. I am working on it, I promise.

Dear The Commercials, Lady Gaga, and the actual game too (I guess), I cannot wait to watch you all on Sunday!! The boys can’t wait either, but they don’t know it yet.

Dear Skateboarding, This is going to sound crazy, but you look fun. I want to drop in on a ramp one day. For real. I would (obviously) crash, but it looks so fun.

Dear My Mailman, Where have you been?  We were getting so close and now you disappear??  I hope you are just on vacation and will be flying down the street again next week!

Dear My Neighbors, Once again, you all rock.  It’s takes a village and I am lucky (SO LUCKY) to have such a great one.

Dear W, I think it’s the sweetest thing when you say that the low (aka worst part) of your day was not seeing your teachers.  L just looks at you like you are nuts, but I get it.

Dear Beyonce, Forget Kim K, you really did break the internet with that announcement.  Congrats!

Spread the love

    Jennifer,

I noticed you are looking for a friend for your dog Buddy. Check out the website petfinder.com you can search for dogs or cats in your area that are in shelters, foster homes, and rescue groups. You can search by breed, sex, age, etc. Both of my full blooded cocker spaniels have come from there….and they are the best dogs in the world!! Rudy was 4 when we got him and a Lady was 3….the puppy stage is over and they are usually already trained! Plus you are saving a dog!! It’s awesome! Rudys parents got divorced and Lady’s Mom went into a nursing home…so we get to help them and they are a awesome addition to our family! Just thought I’d put that out there. Good luck whatever you end up doing. It’s so hard to loose your babies…that’s the only bad part about having pets.

I have been looking! Between already having a dog, having kids and my allergies (so bad), there haven’t been a ton of options. I was this close to calling on a dog (a little shih-tzu) I saw as an adoptable pet of the week on tv, but I restrained myself since I know my husband wants a big (well bigger than Buddy) dog. Buddy really needs a friend though!

If you want a small dog but your husband wants a large one maybe just get a medium size dog, and don’t listen to anyone that get angry if you decides to buy from a breeder or a pet shop.

Thanks! Goldendoodles seem to be our middle ground. Okay for my allergies and big enough for him to be happy.
