Today I’m Smiling Because…
~B is home! He’s been in Korea for the last 6 weeks, but he got home safe and sound yesterday. Yay!!!
~L did not, as I originally thought, get a 21% on some test in gym class. Turns out it was 21 laps and it just showed as a percentage in the grading system online. LOL. Oops!
~W had a great time at his painting field trip. And his car turned out great!
~The weather is supposed to be gorgeous today! 60 and sunny in Michigan in February? That’s just about beach weather.
~The boys have off school all next week for Winter Break. We don’t have any big plans, but we’ll find something fun to do.

That sounds like our weather in Wisconsin! 58 yesterday, 60 today! I can’t believe it. I’m so glad that little (big) rat Punxsutawney Phil was wrong!!
What does your husband do that he travels to Korea? My husband retired from the Air Force so he is home more now but still travels with his job (Medical research science/forensics).
He works for the DoD! Your husband’s job sounds quite interesting. Where all does he travel? And where were you guys stationed for the AF??
Also, did I know you were in WI? That is where B grew up!
My husband mostly travels to the East coast and once or twice a year to Europe. I go with him when my work schedule allows, which is 2-3 times a year. While in the AF we were stationed in Germany, UK, Okinawa, Guam and 9 different states. It was great and we miss moving.
I don’t know if you knew I lived in Wi? We’ve been here for almost 5 years. We’re from California but moved here because of my husbands job. Its a lot different then Ca but we love it! We’re did your husband grow up in Wi?
My brother works for the DoD! He doesn’t get to travel all over but he is always telling exciting crazy stories.
