I have skipped the last few Birchbox Limited Edition boxes, but I knew I couldn’t pass this one up. It looked so good!
The Birchbox + Draper James Limited Edition Box included the following items:
~Dr. Jart+ Pore Minimalist Black Charcoal Sheet Mask ($7.50): I love charcoal skincare products, and this mask is no exception. It is hypoallergenic and free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates and the active charcoal helps to reduce pores and detoxify the skin. I have acne-prone skin, and I found that this reduced redness and really did make my pores look smaller.
~Bioderma® Sensibio H2O (100mL) ($3.38): This is a facial cleanser and moisturizer in one. It’s fantastic. It left my skin feeling amazing, and the best part is that it’s SO easy. No rinsing is necessary with this – I just applied to using a cotton round was on my way.
~Exclusive Draper James Makeup Pouch: I have a ton of makeup bags, but I love getting them. This one is gorgeous – I love the floral pattern – and will easily wipe clean.
~“Think Big” Trinket Tray: Trinket trays are another subscription box “regular,” but I love them too! This is a perfect size for rings and earrings and maybe a delicate necklace or bracelet.
~Lipstick Queen Eden Lipstick ($24): I am still scared to swatch a ton of stuff on my skin, but this quite as bold as it looks in the tube (you can see a swatch of it here). It’s still a tad (okay a lot) bold for me, but my SIL is a lipstick addict and will love it.
~Living proof. Restore Instant Protection Spray (60mL) ($8.30): This “ultralight spray protects hair from heat up to 450 degrees, leaving it smooth, polished, and shiny”. It also blocks UV rays and is free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. It left my hair feeling and looking great. I try and avoid heat styling when I can, but sometimes when it’s 20 degrees out), you just have to break out the blow dryer.
~Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner (0.7 fl.oz) ($8.75): Sunday Riley is one of my favorite brands to get in a subscription box. It’s pricey, so it’s not necessarily something I would buy on my own, but I totally want to try it. This toner has antibacterial, mattifying, pore-reducing, and even hydrating benefits and is perfect for my skin. I have mentioned it in the past, but I love using a toner on my skin. This one makes it feel extra clean, but it doesn’t leave my skin tight and dry.
~Ouai Treatment Mask (30mL) ($13.33): This works quickly to transform coarse strands into softer, smoother and more luscious locks. I have used this in the past and have always been happy with the results. I probably use too much (I feel like it takes a lot to cover my hair), but it rinses easily and really works to soften and smooth hair.
~Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer (7.5mL) ($10.57): Love this! It might be my favorite Benefit product ever? It’s designed to be worn under makeup, but I like it by itself. It instantly makes your face look smoother and almost like you have a snapchat filter going on. And sometimes that is all I want.
~Smashbox Indecent Exposure Mascara ($23): I have tried a lot of mascaras, but I must say, none of them have ever had a velvet cap! Fancy! It made my lashes crazy long but did leave them a little clumpy.
~Grab & Go Pony Tube (~$10): Not a groundbreaking product, but I love these. They don’t get all caught up in my hair, and they don’t leave indentations on my wrist (I always have one on my wrist) either.
All totaled the non-exclusive products in the Birchbox + Draper James Limited Edition Box had a value of $108.83. According to Birchbox, this box has a value of $178, meaning the exclusive items have a value of $70. That seems high, but I suppose anything is possible. Regardless I loved the box and am very happy with it.

Is it wrong to want the box just for the pony holders????
