The March 2017 Orange Glad box included the following items:
~Little Belgians Vanilla Speculoos Cookies & Original Speculoos Cookies: The original cookies are flavored with dark brown sugar and nine spices including cinnamon, cloves, pepper, and cardamom. The vanilla combines brown sugar and vanilla and, in my opinion, is even better than the original. It’s probably a good thing there were not more of these in the box.
~Wooden Table Baking Co. Traditional Alfajores: Aldajores are “handcrafted shortbread cookies joined with dulce de leche and rolled in grated coconut”. I’m not the biggest coconut fan on the planet, but these were tasty. The shortbread cookies? OMG. So so so good.
~theo Hazelnut Crunch and Bread & Chocolate: This is what I’m talking about! The Bread one was my favorite of the two, but I think that was more about the 70% Dark Chocolate than the bread flavor. The bread just added a little crunchiness for me. The Hazelnut Crunch had the texture of a Nestle Crunch bar, but a much more distinct flavor.
Orange Glad has had some shipping issues lately and I am hoping they’ve gotten back on track in the recent months. If you are a subscriber let me know what your experiences have been!
