~Good morning! Last night was pizza night (yes, again) and I think we all agree that we MODPizza is the best pizza place in town now (even if they don’t always remember to slice your pizza). Well, everyone except for W who doesn’t like pizza. L is a huge fan though.
~I still have a few boxes coming this week including Pooch Perks, Julep, Geek Fuel, Ellie, Nomadik, Wantable Makeup, Smart Art, GlobeIn, WalMart Beauty Box and probably a few more! If case you missed the post the other day, Little Lace Box is closing their doors and won’t be sending out the February box (that was supposed to go out at the end of March). Does anyone else really want to know what was planned for that box? I am so curious.
~Has anyone been to Universal Orlando recently? We are thinking about a trip there next year and I’d love some advice. Best places to stay, how many days do you need at Universal, etc. I haven’t been there in ages (since high school probably) and am pretty sure it’s nothing like it was back then.
~The Teen Mom reunion was pretty standard this week. I highly doubt Janelle and her mom will ever stop fighting. Also, I hear that Briana of Teen Mom 3 fame is joining the cast next season. I’m getting a little bored with some of these girls, so this is fine by me. LOL!
That’s it from here. Have a great weekend!
I’m obsessed with Mod Pizza! They are so delicious!
We went to Universal Orlando in December 2016 and we stayed at Loews Royal Pacific and it was totally worth, here you have the extra hour to go to harry potter section and the unlimited express passes, since we do not go often we like to maximize the time we have there, so the express passes are excellent and in my case that the kids now like to go to the same ride more than once is amazing, some lines can go a long way even those in the kids rides, like in the Dr Seuss word, so we like this option. We went there 3 years ago too and we stayed in a hotel outside so we were able to compare expenses and at the end the cost was pretty similar if we included the unlimited express pass, parking/transportation. A friend of mine like to stay in the hard rock hotel and it is a little more expensive but she like the most and it include all the benefits too.
About how many days we went to the park, we visited just one day per park, with the unlimited express park we were able to cover all the rides and we were able to ride more than once, but now that my older kid is 11 almost 12 (my youngest is 6), he would like to go more time so it is something that we could consider in our next trip.
I hope this helps 🙂
We went to Universal towards the end of October 2016 with my parents and 1y daughter(the trip was for us, not her). We stayed in Orlando for 1 week and had a non-park day on alternating days, we had 1 day I. Each park. We also went to the Kennedy Space Center for the day.
At this time of the year there were very few long lines for any of the rides, which was really surprising to me. There were a few hour waits, but most were 15-20 minutes long. We arrived pretty much when the park opened and stayed until 7 or 8p every night. We were able to ride every ride we wanted while switching off so a pair of us could watch baby.
For lunch we ended up in the shops/food court area between Island of Adventures and Universal Where it was less crowded. It wasn’t anything fancy – Panda, Moe’s, Burger King.
We stayed off property at Sheraton Vistana Villages (our 3rd time
staying here) and loved it. They have a really nice kid friendly pool area with small water slides and a pirate ship.
Hope this helps 🙂
