Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over four years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.

This review is on the “Regular” April 2017 Birchbox.I didn’t purchase the curated box this month, however, it is still available in their shop for $15 ($10 for subscribers). You could also opt for the curated box in place of your regular Birchbox this month.
My April 2017 Birchbox (there are tons of variations in boxes) included the following items:
~(MALIN+GOETX) grapefruit face cleanser (15mL) ($3.43): This cleanser dissolves dirt and oil, clears acne, and balances skin’s pH. It smells refreshing, and I like that it foams.
~Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo (75mL) ($7.80) and Davines LOVE Smoothing Conditioner (12mL) ($1.44): This duo is designed for Coarse or Frizzy Hair, which my hair is not. However, my hair is tangle-prone, and this works wonders. It has a nice scent (sort of fruity) too!
~Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream (5mL) ($4.80): This was my sample choice item this month! It’s designed to solve redness, blemishes, inflammation, and other irritations. I am not a fan of the smell (it smelled “green” if that makes sense), but I love the product. I have been using it as a spot treatment on trouble spots, and it really does tone things down.
~The Beauty Crop GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick (Imma Bawse) (2mL) ($12): This color is bold! It lasted forever, and I had trouble getting it off. I think it’s more of a stain than a liquid lipstick though. I also feel like it needed a layer of primer or something underneath. I am not sure I would buy this again.
~Number 4 Jour d’automne Super Texturing Spray (30mL) ($4.55): I will take all the texturizing products I can get! This didn’t leave my hair crunchy but still gave it a boost. That’s all I need in a texture spray, so I am happy.
All totaled I came up with a value of $34.02 for my April 2017 Birchbox. I am really happy with this month’s box! All of the brands were fantastic, and I felt like it fit my profile.
