~Good morning! What a nice weekend – weather-wise and all-around really. The kids went to a birthday party and then spent the rest of it playing outside with the neighbor kids. They had a ball! B had National Guard and I continued with my Spring Cleaning. We are dog sitting for a friend of mine too, so that’s keeping us busy as well.

~Subscription boxes coming this week include GlobeIn, Nomadik, Bookcase.Club, and a few others I can’t figure out in tracking!

~Tell me this. I was watching Inside Edition and one of their Spring Cleaning Hacks involved tossing ice cubes in your dry to get the wrinkles out of things. Does this really work?

~Also, let’s talk about swimsuits! I generally avoid them (LOL), but it’s probably time for a new one. I don’t want anything with a full-skirt or anything, but I mean I’m obviously not 21 or Christie Brinkley either. Any recommendations??

That’s it from here! Have a great day!

Spread the love

Just got one from Target. It’s very highly reviewed. I prefer 2 pieces, but sometimes it’s nice to have a good one piece. It’s called the mesh inset microgoddess bandeau one piece. Good luck!!

I love Magicsuit and Miraclesuit… they “suck you in”, but are still comfortable a stylish. Of course I’m talking about the one pieces, but they have cute two pieces as well! They’re expensive, but if I can feel confident in a swimsuit in public it’s worth it for me. I’m not a big person or anything, but since I’ve been married I feel like I’m respecting my husband a little more when I’m better covered. 🙂 My poor, old bikinis are just collecting dust these days.

The ice cubes might work. I throw a wet wash cloth in to release wrinkles (after the rest of the clothes are dry of course). I don’t even want to discuss swimsuits yet.

I have this swimsuit too (red with white polka dots) and have been very happy with it. The reviews were so great from women of all sizes and I love how it looks kind of retro! Also, it is really inexpensive compared to a lot of other options out there.

I think the ice cube in the dryer trick is the same idea as putting a damp washcloth in the dryer 🙂

Loooove athleta suits. They are a little pricey, but the styles and quality = fabulous.
