Smartass & Sass Review - April 2017

I had been super excited to get this box and couldn’t wait to open it up!

Smartass & Sass Review - April 2017

The April 2017 “Mornings Are Hard” Smartass and Sass box included the following items:

~Good Common Sense Morning Wood Soap ($7): The tie-in between the name of this soap and the theme of the box made me giggle.  Because I’m 12!  This soap is handcrafted and made with Spearmint, Cedar Wood, Lavender, Marjoram, and Bergamot Essential oils.  I am not a bar soap person, so I am going to pass it along to my husband.

~Funny Pill Box by Picard Creative ($6): I am not sure if this is actually supposed to be a pill box or if that’s just the name?  I like the little pill boxes with dividers (and days of the week), but I will use this for mints or something.

~Near Modern Diaster Pin ($10): This is a 1″ enamel pin that says “Coffee is My Spirit Animal”, which is basically true ;). I am going to put this on a tote bag!

~May Your Nails Get Compliments Nail Block by Smartass & Sass (~$3): I needed this!  I have been trying to let my nails breathe (is that even an actual thing), but I would like to them to still be smooth and shiny.  I will buff them out with this.

~Mornings are for Mimosas Print by StarJoy16 ($6.50): I was surprised that this was printed on glossy photography paper – not the cardstock that prints are usually on.  It’s sassy and may end up in my quote frame one day.

~I Fart In Yoga Class and Leggings Let Me Live The Ninja Live Buttons by Francine and Georgia (~$4): LOL!  The yoga class one not so much, but the leggings one?  Truth!  I think the leggings actually help me to stay flexible ;).

~I Run on Caffeine and Cuss Words Magnet by Stampede ($8): LOL!  I do cuss (more than I should I am sure) and will be putting this on my magnetic board in my office.  Or maybe my IKEA cart?

~Bookmark / Digital Downloads: The box also included a bookmark and some printables.  These aren’t listed on the information card, but I wanted to mention them.

Smartass & Sass Review - April 2017

All totaled I came up with a value of approximately $45 for the April 2017  Smartass and Sass.  I had high hopes for this box and felt a little let down opening it.  The value was more than the cost, but it was lacking a “hero” item to me.  Like a cool coffee mug, a t-shirt or a tote bag maybe?   Smartass and Sass did send out a survey looking for feedback about this box (and future boxes), so I have my fingers crossed for next month.
