~Good evening! What a gorgeous weekend! We ran errands, played outside (lots of playing outside) and even got some Spring cleaning in! After I took down all my Easter stuff I decided I needed to wash the couch cushions so that’s been happening all weekend (it’s a process). I have the Ektorp pieces from IKEA with white covers and, as you can imagine, they get filthy.  However, I had a dark brown couch before and I am pretty sure that was filthy too – I just couldn’t see it.

~Is anyone else as excited as I am that Steve Madden is bringing back their amazing slides?  They are available for pre-order now for $69.95.  I used to wear those every.single.day in 1995. I LOVED them.  I swear they weren’t $70 back then though.  They were *maybe* $25?  I do still love them though….

~Are your kids all into “fidget spinners“?  If you aren’t familiar with them, they are just toys that spin. Kids do tricks with them and really that’s about it?  LOL!  I am actually a tad surprised we haven’t gotten one in a subscription box yet.  Maybe with the box logo on it?

That’s it from here! Have a great night!

Spread the love

Oh my gosh. Those shoes!! I wore them with everything, for some reason I distinctly remember wearing them to church camp with a specific outfit I had… I must have really thought I looked cute! I know for a fact that my mom would not have bought them for $70, though.

They really looked good with everything. I often wore then with black bar pants.

They were definitely $40, not $70!

Yeah, I know there was no way I paid $70 for shoes back then!
