~Good morning! This has been a busy week so far! Yesterday was W’s birthday (B’s was the day before) and we packed so much fun in. The best part (according to W) was the trampoline place! L’s school was having a Family Fun Night at a local trampoline park which was PERFECT because that’s what he wanted to do for his birthday anyway. The boys had a ball. They also had a ball playing with the left over kazoos from the goodie bags I made for W’s class. I didn’t think that was as much fun as they did ;).
~Is anyone here into spinning? I just signed up for my first class (it’s tomorrow) and I am nervous! The studio looks amazing and the instructors seem great so I am really hoping I love it. I will report back.
~The Unicorn Frappuccino. Have you tried it yet? It tastes like uhh, sugar. Sometimes like sweet sugar and sometimes like sour sugar. I didn’t hate it, but there was no way I was drinking the entire thing either. Totally fun to try and genius marketing by Starbucks. I mean, who wouldn’t want to Instagram that and give them free advertising?? I did (am right now). LOL!
~Has anyone tried the Brit + Co DIY Kits at Target? They all look cool, but I have my eye on the Knit A Scarf one. I could probably finish it by the time it’s scarf weather again too, which would be a bonus. But seriously if you have ever bought / tried one of these kits, report back!
That’s it from here. Have a great weekend!
I’ve been doing Zumba 3-5 times a week for nine years, but I’ve always been curious about spinning! I just tried Pilates for the first time this week and was nervous ? but it was great. Can’t wait to hear how your experience was!
I will report back!!! I want to try Pilates too!
Cycling is so much fun, the only downside is how your behind remember after the first/second class, but it is worth it, good cardio, so much fun and energy, the only tip I have is if you are not using cycling shoes, do not use very flexible shoes, well in my case I have issues with my feet so they hurt a lot if I do not use the right shoes, but that could be just crazy me 😀 Have fun!!
That’s what I hear! I hope I love it! I don’t have cycling shoes, but if I really like it I might get some. What kind do you use?
Since my feet do not work well, I tried several brands and models and at the end I bought the Louis Garneau Women’s Multi Air Flex Fitness/Mountain Cycling Shoe (I found out Amazon had the best price), in my case I Iooked for something not so tight and with arch support, and these are perfect and in Magenta color I totally love them hehehe. As a side shoes I have a pair of shimano for indoor cycling, they are good too and I found them in REI at a very good price (these were my first cycling shoes).
I love spinning! Your bottom is going to be sore for awhile but you get used to it. I want a Peloton.
Kazoos are a definite no in any of my goodie bags that I had out. And the ones my kids get go in the trash when they’re not looking. You are brave!
My 7 year old wanted to try the unicorn frap and I would have liked to have taken a sip. We stopped by Starbucks yesterday after school and they had already made the drink “extinct”. Supposedly all the Starbucks in the area are out of the supplies to make the drink with the exception of one Target location.
