Boxwalla boxes (the boxes themselves) are probably one of the most interesting boxes out there. They are made in India from tree-free handmade paper. The boxes are made out of cotton scraps, using the traditional art of paper-making that involves nine steps and takes several weeks. The handmade paper is then meticulously fashioned into the boxes that the goodies get shipped in.
The April 2017 Boxwalla Beauty Box theme was “Wandering Woman’s English Spring” and included the following items:
~Twelve Beauty Ideal Moisture Level Serum ($67): This serum is designed for very dry or mature skin. It’s lightweight, but hydrates quickly. You just need a drop or two and, in addition to leaving your skin hydrated, this will also help with fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also supposed to help wth acne, redness and protects your skin from the elements. The formula is plant-based, and it is free from parabens, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals and glycols.
~Amly Botanicals’ Silver-rich Radiance Boost Face Mist ($58): Before I opened this I thought, “who needs a $58 face mist”? After I opened this? I thought “who doesn’t need this”? Ha. It’s amazing. It revives tired, stressed skin and smells incredible. It is infused with organic flowers, hedgerow fruit, native herbs and exquisite essential oils of Neroli, Jasmine, Rose Otto, Chamomile, Linden Blossom and Frankincense. I picked up some florals in it, but also some of the deep notes like the Frankincense. You can use it over makeup to get a boost anytime you need it. I also want to mention that this comes in a glass bottle which isn’t something you need on a regular basis in a mist like this.
All totaled the April 2017 Boxwalla Beauty Box had a value of $125. It “only” had two items, but they were both fantastic. Another impressive box from Boxwalla!
