Gentleman’s Box ships via USPS. For orders or subscriptions placed before the 25th of the month, your first box will be shipped the day you subscribe or purchase your gift. If you order after the 25th of the month, your first box will ship the 10th of the following month.
Gentleman’s Box is a Michigan company, and since I am in Michigan too that makes me like them even better!
The May 2017 Gentleman’s Box is a collaboration with Jim Beam and included the following items:
~Salt + Dapper Tie ($10): The information card lists the value of this as $39, but all Salt+Dapper ties are on sale on their site for $10 right now, so that’s the price I used. This is an amazing tie for the price. I love the pattern, the colors, just everything.
~Southern Scholar Socks ($12): Southern Scholar socks are available only via their monthly subscription service. The information booklet shows these with a blue toe, heel, and cuff, but the pair I received was gray. Either way, they are great, and I like the arrows and little birds on the top.
~The Dark Knot Lapel Flower ($29): The Dark Knot lapel pin is made out of a microfiber material and perfectly matches the socks and tie in this month’s box.
~A.J. Murray’s Lotion (Kentucky Bourbon) (30mL) ($4): This lotion has base notes of vetiver and cedar blended with bourbon, cognac, palmarosa and rose. It’s a unique scent, and I think it’s amazing!
~Woodchuck USA Wooden Coasters ($35): These Jim Beam Black coasters are a Gentleman’s Box exclusive. They are handcrafted and made from 100% sustainably-sourced walnut wood. I think they will make a fabulous addition to any at-home bar or man cave.
~Jim Beam Black Ice Tray: This is another Gentleman’s Box exclusive and another great bar item. It makes large ice cubes which melt slowly and prevent dilution.
All totaled the May 2017 Gentleman’s Box had a value of $90. I think this was our favorite Gentleman’s Box to date. The value was outstanding, and the collaboration was perfect!
