The May 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box “Epicure” themed box included the following items:
~Stemless Wine Glasses (Set of Two), Mexico (Retail $30): These wine glasses are from Cristaluc which is located in Tonalá in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Cristaluc employs 40 local artisans and provides them with a steady income and a supportive and inspiring space to practice their art. These glasses are as gorgeous as they are unique. Because they are handmade, no two will be alike. The colorful speckling is different, and the glasses are slightly different sizes. Very neat!
~Mouse Cheese Knife, India, 7″ (Retail $10): This is a mouse cheese knife, but honestly, I didn’t see the “mouse” in it until long after I took these pictures. I thought it looked like a seahorse. I still kind of do actually. It was made in India by Dilshad Hussain and his group of stainless steel artisans. They work with Noah’s Ark, which is a local venture that provides its hundreds of artisans
~Neem Wood Cheese Board, India (Retail $15): This cheese board was crafted in West Bengal, India from soft neem wood. It’s on the smaller side which would make it ideal to use for your own personal fruit and cheese arrangement.
~Mini Handwoven Basket, Mexico, 3×4″ (Retail $10): Sometimes GlobeIn includes their signature palm leaf basket in boxes, and sometimes you can swap out the basket for a different item. Baskets vary in color, sizes, and shape and can be used for anything from storing toiletries in your bathroom to using as a gift box/wine tote.
~GlobeIn Greeting Card, 6×4″ (Retail $3): All boxes now also include what they refer to as a greeting card. Some are actual greeting cards, but I would call this one a print. A fantastic print ;).
~ONEHOPE: This month’s box also included information on ONEHOPE. ONEHOPE offers wine, coffee, and other gifts which support a charitable cause. Their products are designed to inspire people to indulge while doing good.
All totaled the May 2017 “Epicure” GlobeIn Artisan Box had a value of $68. You know exactly what you’ll be receiving with this subscription, so you can’t go wrong. Subscribers can also opt to “Skip” months and will not be charged if they aren’t interested in that month’s box.
