Stitch Fix Men Review - May 2017
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for men and women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!

Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

This month’s Stitch Fix shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Sometimes they ship via FedEx as well.

This is my husband’s (aka B) 9th fix and got home just in time to try it all on.

B’s May 2017 Stitch Fix Men included the following items:

~Alternative Apparel Berkeley Eco Crew Tee ($38): This shirt is fantastic!  It’s 50% Polyester, 38% Cotton, 12% Rayon and is incredibly soft and stretchy.  It fits B perfectly and is a keeper.  Verdict: Kept.

~7 Diamonds Welkin Colorblock Polo ($59): I don’t mind this polo, but B strongly dislikes the color blocking.  It’s well-made and fit was great (more relaxed than slim fit, but not baggy), but the colorblocking made it a no-go. Verdict: Returned.

~Hawker Rye Essential Wash Chino Short ($44): I had a hard time capturing the true color of these shorts, but they are a pale gray’ish pink.  We liked them, but B didn’t feel like he’d get enough wear out of them because of the color. The fit as perfect though – true to size and flattering. Verdict: Returned.

~Hawker Rye Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt ($44): This is a classic oxford shirt in a fun lavender.  It’s great for Spring and B thought it fit well in the shoulders and body.  He didn’t like the length though.  He thought it was too short and said he’d spend the day pulling it down.  Verdict: Returned.

~ROHM Walter Jean ($68): These jeans though!  When I saw them in the box, I thought no way, those are awful.  To tell you the truth I look at the picture of just the jeans and still think no way.  Then B tried them on, and I was like woah.  They looked amazing.  They have a slim fit but aren’t skinny jeans, and he said they were very comfortable.  They have a nice amount of stretch to them and just looked GOOD.   However, he doesn’t feel like he’d ever wear gray jeans, so these are headed back. Verdict: Returned.

Had B kept everything in his Stitch Fix Men, it would have been $172.75 (that’s $257 less than $20 styling fee and the 25% Buy 5 discount).  That’s a nice price point for five items, but we are just going to keep the tee from this one.  As long as we keep one item, it’s a win.  Keeping (and loving) five to get the discount every month would be great, but realistically that’s more clothes than he needs a month!

If you are interested in giving Stitch Fix Men a try, you can find out more here.  And don’t forget, the better feedback and more information you give, the better chance you will have to get amazing Fixes that work for you!
