ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10. They also offer a rewards system for subscribers. You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via DHL Global Mail. I expect to receive my package a week after they ship. My bag shipped later than normal (well for me) this month, but it’s here now!
There is a ton of variation in ipsy bags, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.
The June 2017 ipsy theme is Volume Up, and my Glam Bag included the following items:
~The Bag: This month’s bag is cotton and has a red lip print on it. It has a tank background with white polka dots, and the bottom is trimmed in black.
~Kokie Cosmetics Nail Polish (Atlantis At Last) ($6): Atlantis At Last is an eye-catching cobalt blue. I personally needed three coats of this to make it as bold as I wanted, but I feel like someone more skilled (which is pretty much anyone other than myself) could do it in just two.
~theBalm Instain (Pinstripe) (1.15g) ($3.89): Pinstripe is described as a “plum” shade. It’s long-lasting and buildable, so you can make it as soft or as bold as you want. It’s user-friendly and very flattering.
~PÜR Mini Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara (4mL) ($12): This mascara is powered by magnetic technology and is designed to latch onto every single lash to strengthen, thicken, and lengthen. I don’t understand the science behind it (not that I need to), but I can say that it stuck to my lashes quite nicely. It also did a great job lengthening!
~VASANTI COSMETICS POWER OILS LIP GLOSS in SUPER MOM (2g) ($5.85): This lipgloss isn’t sticky and gives you tons of shine. I love the “Super Mom” shade, which is a Nude Taupe Mauve. Super pretty and very wearable. I think I may have found a new favorite lipgloss!
~Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Recovery Cream (20mL) ($27.20): I had to check my calculation on this one twice, but it really is a $27 sample. Wow! This probiotic-infused is made with ultra powerful peptides and Vitamin C, which brightens up dull skin and enhances natural collagen reproduction. I am keeping my fingers crosses that this sample size is enough to see results from because I really like the way it feels on my skin. It absorbed quickly and felt very moisturizing without being at all greasy.
~Bonus Product: My April bag contained the Luseta Beauty Volume Reviving Dry Shampoo, which ipsy ended up asking subscribers to dispose of due to heat sensitivity issues. I expected to receive another dry shampoo (a different brand perhaps) in its place, but instead, we received a Glamour Dolls brush. Cute! Note: I did not include this in the value of my June bag.
~Swatches
All totaled I came up with a value of $54.94 for the June 2017 ipsy bag. Outstanding value and this was an instance of liking a subscription box/bag more once you have it in hand than when you see spoilers online. I thought it was “fine” in the spoilers, but I loved it in person!
