My 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Limited Edition Summer Box is here!

If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. The POPSUGAR Must Have Limited Edition Resort Box shipped via FedEx Smart Post. POPSUGAR boxes which ship via FedEx Smart post usually take a week to arrive.

This Limited Edition Box shipped in a giant box with the tote bag (which was revealed in a spoiler from POPSUGAR) and a smaller POPSUGAR box inside of the tote. Such a smart way to keep the tote from losing its shape in shipping and not wasting a ton of packaging materials.

All of the items in the Limited Edition boxes come individually wrapped which makes it extra fun to open.

The POPSUGAR Must Have 2017 Summer Box included the following items:

~Mar Y Sol Collins Tote ($129): Ohhh, I love this!  I liked the tote when they released it as a spoiler, but I love it in person.  It’s made out of 100% woven sisal with raffia pom poms, seagrass lining, inside pocket and leather handles.  You could certainly use it as a beach tote, but it’s not huge – it’s 11″h x 15″w x 7″d with 4″ strap drop, which is just about the size I like for a purse (no joke).  It’s possible I am going to make this my new summer bag!  Also, if you hate the pom poms, not to worry because they are removable.

For fun, I thought I would show a comparison between this bag and the other two totes we have received in Summer Limited Edition Boxes (2015 Summer Box & 2016 Summer Box).  This is the smallest and most structured of the three for sure!

And this is throwing it WAY back to the first ever POPSUGAR tote, which was sent in their July 2012 “Must Have Bag”!  Can we get another tote like this some day POPSUGAR???

~Hampton Sun’s Bronze Serious Shimmer Cooling Spray (Bronze or Pearl) ($32):  Boxes will include the spray in either Pearl or Bronze.  I received the Bronze.  It’s subtle, but did give my pale skin a bit of shimmer and glow.  According to the website, it’s scented with their “signature fragrance, Privet Bloom,” (which has crisp green notes with floral blooms) but I thought it smelled somewhat tropical?  I envision this as something J. Lo would use at the pool!

~Polaroid PLD 6003 Sunglasses ($65):  Another love!  These sunglasses have a navy blue frame with blue mirrored lenses.  They will protect your eyes from glare and give UV protection.  I am wearing them in the photo above and thought they were a great size.  Not crazy big, but not tiny either.  I am also thrilled that they came with a hard case!  I need to remember not to toss the case in my purse (or tote) though because it’s pure white and I can see that getting trashed real quick.

~Jane Iredale Lip Fixation in Craving ($32): This is a dual-ended nude stain and gloss.  The color is quite pretty, but the stain was much more liquidity (is that even a word) than I was expecting.   I didn’t find it to be super long-lasting either.  That doesn’t matter too much to me though because I will probably use the gloss more either way.

~Sunnylife Reversible Coasters ($18): Sunnylife coasters are dual-sided (one side is an anchor, and the other is a lobster) and are made out of a thick coated cardboard.  The box contains 16 coasters, so there are plenty to go around.  For whatever reason, I am still using snowflake coasters, so these are much needed.

~Big Picture Farm Farmstead Milk Caramels in Chai ($10): For me personally you can never go wrong sending caramels in a box!  These are soft and rich, and the milk used to make them comes from an Animal Welfare approved dairy farm in Vermont.  They will *probably* go down as one of my favorite POPSUGAR snacks!

~Hint Sunscreen Spray (scents may vary) ($24): The final item in the box was a Hint Sunscreen Spray.  I was under the impression that Hint only made flavored water (my husband loves hint water), but they make sunscreen too!  I received the Coconut scent, but there is also a grapefruit scent and a pear scent.  The coconut would have been my pick, so I am thrilled.  It smells amazing and who doesn’t need sunscreen??

All totaled I came up with a value of $310 for the POPSUGAR Must Have 2017 Summer Box. I am really happy with this box and will use everything in it which is always a win.  I always like it when I see boxes broken down into the “true” cost, so I thought I would do it for this box=.  Basically we got everything in here for 68% off retail prices (100/310 = 0.32, 100% – 32% = 68%)! Hopefully, I did the math right on that!
