Stitch Fix Review - June 2017
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

My Stitch Fix shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive this month.

I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot.

My June 2017 Stitch Fix (Fix #46) included the following items:

~Le Lis Braverman Polka Dot Hooded Cardigan ($58): This is so me! I know it’s summertime (well, not technically), so this *might* seem like an odd choice, but I live in Michigan, so it could end up being 50 degrees tomorrow. You just never know. I don’t know if the name is a nod to Parenthood, but I am going to pretend it is and that makes me like this even more. The cardigan is medium-weight, and I’d say it has a slim fit. The polka dot lining in the hood is a fun added touch! Verdict: Kept.

~Kut From The Kloth Candace Split Hem Skinny Jean ($78): These are a big miss for me. They don’t fit properly (my fault since I never adjusted my sizes in my profile) and I am not in the market for pink jeans. The price list describes them as fuschia, but I would refer to them as raspberry. I will say that they were very comfortable and had great stretch! Verdict: Returned.

~Daniel Rainn Poppins Crochet Trim Blouse ($64): Hmm. I thought this was cute when I opened up my box, but the little pom poms do not work on me. I feel like they fall funny on my arms. I’d maybe wear this under a blazer (if I wore blazers), but that would defeat the point of the cute detail. Verdict: Returned.

~Laila Jayde Olaf Hooded Drawstring Knit Top ($58): Now this is warm! The inside is sweater-like, and while I almost broke a sweat trying it on, I also didn’t want to take it off because it was so cozy. This is absolutely, 100% me! Verdict: Kept.

~LUQ Julliet Knit Top ($34): This is another huge no. I think it’s supposed to be worn off the shoulder, but that just isn’t me at all. I don’t even think I own a strapless bra ad the billowy arms on here are a big miss for me. Verdict: Returned.

I am keeping two pieces from this month’s Stitch Fix, and that makes me happy. I *probably* should branch out and keep pieces other than hoodies and cardigans, but they send me so many cute ones that I can’t resist!
