Walmart Beauty Box Review - Summer 2017 (Classic)
My Walmart Beauty Box has arrived! I finally subscribed, and I am so glad I did. Each quarterly Walmart Beauty Box contains brand name product samples, all of which are available at Walmart for purchase.  Boxes are broken down into two categories – Classic and Trendsetter.  Your age in your profile determines which box you will receive.

The Walmart Beauty Box ships on a seasonal basis via USPS.

Subscribers receive either the “Trendsetter” or “Classic” box.  Based on my profile I received the Classic box.

The Summer 2017 Walmart Beauty Box – Classic included the following items:

~Dove Refresh + Care Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo (1.15oz) ($2.99): This dry shampoo did the job as promised.  It removed excess oil and didn’t leave any white residue.  Works for me!

~Pantene Pro-V Dreamcare Shampoo and Conditioner (50mL) ($2): I actually just purchases the full-size of these a few months back (and am still using them up).  They smell good, and I think they’ve helped add moisture to my hair.

~Banana Boat Dry-Balance SPF30 ($1): Dry-Balance sunscreen leaves a soft matte finish on your skin, so it’s not greasy like most sunscreens.  It’s lightweight, feels good on and protects your skin all at once.

~ROC Multi Correxion 5-in-1 (5mL) ($2.75): This moisturizer improves the look of discoloration, sagging, dryness, dull tone, and wrinkles.  It has a built-in SPF30 which I appreciate and absorbed quickly.  The sample is likely too small to see a difference, but that’s generally the case with anti-aging type samples.

~Palmers Coconut Oil Facial Moisturizer (Free Sample) and Palmers Coconut Oil Luminous Hydration Facial Oil (1mL) ($0.33): I love the smell of coconuts, so I am super happy about these samples.  They aren’t the most “valuable,” but they are free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates and mineral oil and are made with fair trade coconut oil.  The Facial Oil gave me a dewy sort of look, and I was happy with how quickly it absorbed.

~Ponds Original Fresh MoistureClean Towelettes (5Ct.) ($1): These wipes remove makeup without stripping your skin of needed moisture.  I used these to remove some makeup swatches from my arm, and they did the job well.

~SmileDirectClub Coupon: The box also included a coupon to Smile Club Direct. It’s for $55 off an impression kit and $100 off aligners.  Maybe this will give me the push I need to get a consult!

The Summer 2017 Classic Walmart Beauty Box had a value of about $8.  For a $5 box that’s just a meh value and I wasn’t overly impressed with this one.  Maybe the Trendsetter box was where it was at this month?

The Summer 2017 Walmart Beauty Box is still available!  If you are interested in signing up, you can do so here.
