The Summer 2017 Beautycon Box included the following items:

~ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Satin Lip Stain in London Fog ($6): London Fog is a pinky-red long-lasting lip color.  In my opinion, it’s much more of a red than a pink.  It’s ultra pigmented, and you can’t beat the price point.

~DECO Miami Lemon Blossom Cuticle Oil ($12.50): DECO Lemon Blossom Cuticle Oil smells good and left my cuticles soft and smooth.  It’s 8-free, TPHP-Free, vegan and cruelty-free as well.

~DECO Miami x Beautycon Pink Glass Nail File ($10): Maybe not the most exciting item to get in a subscription box, but it’s one I will use the most.

~Dirty Little Secret Gold Plated Eyeshadow Crayon ($14): Gold Plated is almost a rose gold color.  It’s gorgeous! Shimmer, easy to apply and what I would consider to be a fun neutral.

~Doucce Lush Lip Gloss in Glistening Petals ($22): Glistening Petals has tons of shine without being sticky.  I’m not totally sure how to describe this color. It’s a blend of browns, oranges, and reds.  Not a mauve, not a coral, just a super pretty shade.

~feel BRILLIANT bamboo charcoal facial sheet mask ($8.75 x 2): I received one of these charcoal sheet masks in my July Allure and loved it.  They are designed to pull out all the gunk from your face.  They do that, plus moisturize and hydrate your skin.

~Freeman Renewing Cucumber Peel-Off Gel Mask ($1.99): I have been so busy using charcoal masks I haven’t gotten around to this one. It soothes irritated skin and moisturizes and clarifies at the same time.

~Jonteblu Electric Blue Eyeliner Pencil ($5): This is a very pretty blue color, but I don’t wear eyeliner.  I *might* wear black eyeliner on a very rare occasion, but never blue.  I have some friends who would enjoy this, and I will pass it along.

~MakeupDrop x Beautycon The Original Silicone Makeup Applicator: ($20): Think Beautyblender, but different.  LOL! Unlike a sponge, it doesn’t absorb any product, which eliminates waste and makes clean-up a breeze.  I am still getting used to the silicone texture (tip: use less product than you think you need), but this could be a game changer.

~MannaKadar Flutter Mascara In Jet Black ($29): Great mascara! The brush looks like it’s not going to get the job done, but it really does.  It lengthens, gave a huge volume boost and didn’t flake off.

~Swatches: From Right to Left: Jonteblu Electric Blue – Douccee (Glistening Petals) – Dirty Little Secret (Gold Plated) – ColourPop (London Fog)

The Summer 2017 Beautycon Box had a value of about $139.  That’s an outstanding value, but I wasn’t feeling this box.  It felt repetitive and makeup heavy to me.  I do still feel like I got my money’s worth and that’s always important!

What do you think of Beautycon? The Summer box is still available while supplies last.
