Yuzen Review - Summer 2017
Yuzen is a quarterly subscription box that sends you a little Zen for every season.  Each box includes high-quality natural and organic personal care products, healthy snacks, and lifestyle items carefully chosen from about 6 companies.  Yuzen was previously a monthly subscription box but switched to quarterly a while back.  I like the quarterly format of this box better than monthly.

I say it every time I do a Yuzen review, but I am always impressed by the packaging on their boxes.  Everything is always so beautifully packaged with gorgeous prints and colors.

The Summer 2017 Yuzen box included the following items:

~ESLOR Firming Eye Cream (0.35oz) ($37.50): This eye cream is all-natural, cruelty-free and contains no parabens or sulfates.  It’s designed to reduce under-eye circles and puffiness while moisturizing and toning skin.  I’m sampled this in the past and have always been happy with it!

~LATHER Cucumber & Ginseng Facial Mist (2oz) ($5.70):  You can use this after washing your face or pretty much anytime during the day. It’s incredibly refreshing and feels like a dream on a hot day.  I wouldn’t use it on a full face of make-up though as I would be afraid it’d mess it up.

~MYCHELLE DERMACEUTICALS Sun Shield (0.25oz) ($2.17): This is an unscented, mineral-based sunscreen.  It’s pretty thick, but it soaked in quickly.  I’m a fan!

~NUBIAN HERITAGE 24 Hour All Natural Deodorant (full-size) ($9):  Much to my surprise I loved this scent!  The deodorant didn’t irritate my skin at all (I think I mentioned a few days ago that I had been having issues with this), but this only works on non-workout days.  Or in the winter when I am not sweating like crazy.

~PURITY OF ELEMENTS Radiance Face Serum (full-size) ($58): This serum aims to “improve skin radiance while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, revealing a brighter complexion.”  It’s full-size (I love when boxes include full-size products), so you will certainly be able to tell if it works for you. So far I think it smells great and I felt like my skin as smoother right away.

~SHEA MOISTURE Mud Masks (15mL/each) ($3/each): I haven’t gotten a chance to use these masks yet (I have been on mask overload lately), but I have used them in the past and always found them to work well. They are cruelty-free, ethically sourced and contain no parabens, petroleum, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances or colors • Ethically sourced.

~St. Claire’s Organics Raspberry Tarts ($2.99):  Why am I just now finding out about these?  They are amazing!  In addition to being delicious, these are also certified organic, allergen-free, vegan and kosher.

All totaled the Summer 2017 Yuzen had a value of about $121.50.  That’s an outstanding value, and I found this to be an impressive box.  Go Yuzen!
