Box of Style Review Fall 2017 + Coupon Code

My Fall 2017 Box of Style is here! If you aren’t familiar with them, Box of Style is a seasonal subscription box by Rachel Zoe. It promises to include $300 favorite fashion, beauty and lifestyle items hand-curated by Rachel and The Zoe Report Team.

Everything was wrapped in tissue paper which made it extra fun to unbox. Even though I knew what was in the box, I didn’t always know exactly what I was unwrapping.

The Fall 2017 Rachel Zoe Box of Style included the following items:

~GiGi New York Rachel Convertible Clutch ($195): This clutch is a Box of Style exclusive!  Let’s be real, when I saw that this box included a blue clutch, I was less than thrilled.  For whatever reason, blue clutches have appeared in a ton of subscription boxes.  But this one is better than all the others.  It has a detachable strap so you can use it either as a clutch or wear it over your shoulder (or as a cross body bag).  It’s even big enough to use as a laptop sleeve (it will hold most 13-inch laptops) too!  I love the embossed leather and the tassel on closure.  This is a high-quality piece that will be around for a long time.

~La Soula Two Diamond Ring Set ($176): Members were able to choose between yellow, white or rose gold.  I opted for the Rose gold.  The rings are adjustable (they are a Size 6 before adjusting), so they can be worn as a classic fit or up higher on your finger for a more modern look.  They look great on the model in the Box of Style images, but I didn’t like them on me.  They very much remind me of the belly button ring I had back in the day.  I may need to try them stacked with some other rings?  Note: I am hearing a lot of people are having issues with receiving tarnished rings.  Mine were fine, but let me know if this is the case for you.

~Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream ($52): The Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream acts as a leave-in conditioner to calm frizz, elevate shine and add moisture.  It has a nice light scent and I was thrilled to see a full-size Oribe product in here.  Good stuff!

~Nudestix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm (Pulse) ($24): Pulse is a “glossy rose with plum undertones.”  The gel color works on your lips AND on your cheeks.   The coolest part about this is the build-in mirror inside the packaging.  I don’t want to compare it to the consistency of a gloss, but it’s definitely not a crayon (although it does look like one).

~Odeme Gold Catchall Tray ($44):  Gorgeous!  The tray measures about 5×7″, so it’s not huge, but it will fit keys, rings, a pen, whatever else you want to keep track of.  Mine is either going to end up on my nightstand or in the living room to catch all the random things (pens, lip balms), etc. that end up in there with me.

~Skinesque 3 Step Brightening + Charcoal Mask ($37.50): The mask set includes five individual masks, each having three parts as follows:

• Step 1: Gentle Foaming Cleanser deeply cleanses and removes impurities for clear and smooth skin.

This is my first time seeing a three-part mask and feel like this would be ideal for traveling.

All totaled the Fall 2017 Rachel Zoe Box of Style had a value of nearly $530.  That’s an outstanding value, and while I wouldn’t have paid retail for many of these items (specifically the rings), I am happy with it!  The box had six items which works out to $16.67/item.  Looking at it that way has me even happier about this box.
