The September 2017 BOXYCHARM theme is “Boxy Baddie” and included the following items:

~Studio Makeup HD Setting Powder ($35): Subscribers received either the powder I did below or the Studio Makeup Luminous Loose Blush.  The powder “sets” your makeup with a flawless finish. It’s lightweight and didn’t leave any noticeable “finish” on my skin.

~Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Hair Mask ($20): The Briogeo hair mask is a subscription box favorite!  It is an “intensive weekly treatment to restore essential hydration and enhance hair’s resilience to protect against future damage.”  I have used it many times and have been thrilled with the results.  In fact, this is just what my hair needs right now.

~Bodyography Duo Brush Set ($20): Subscribers will receive either the duo brush set picture below or a bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush ($28).  The duo includes an angled liner brush (which I will likely pass along to a friend) and a flat shader brush (which I love).  BOXYCHARM has been sending lots of brushes lately, so I am nicely stocked!

~MAC Cosmetics Eyebrow Pencil (Lingering) ($18): This eyebrow pencil is self-sharpening, self-propelling and brow defining.  I love getting MAC products in subscription boxes, but eyebrow products are generally a miss for me.  It’s a great shade though, and I didn’t have any flaking when I tried it.

~PUR Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette ($34):  I couldn’t get the right light for my swatches, so I used the swatches from the PUR website.  The colors are highly pigmented, blendable and great for day AND night!  The palette includes four matte shades, four satin shades, and four shimmers.  A total score!

~ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip ($6):  I am sure we’ve discussed this, but I don’t love the matte lip look on me.  You can’t beat the price tag though! I’ll top this clear gloss and make it work for me.  One note – my tube didn’t have a sticker on it, so I can’t be sure of the color.  Did anyone else have this issue?

The September 2017 BOXYCHARM had a value of $133.  I have no idea how BOXYCHARM does it, but the September box was another great month packed with fabulous brand names and was an outstanding value.
