POPSUGAR Must Have Box now ships via USPS Parcel Post (they previously shipped via FedEx Smart Post). From what I can tell, my box will still take about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.
Fun Fact: POPSUGAR Must Have Box was the first box I have ever subscribed to way back in June 2012! It was POPSUGAR Must Have “Bag” back then, and their first shipment was in July 2012 (you can see my review of that box here).
The October 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by * dreamy * slumber * sleep * de-stress * cozy * bedtime * and includes:
~Lollia Dream White Tea & Honeysuckle Shower Gel ($22): POPSUGAR included a LOLLIA shower gel in their August 2014 box (different scent) and White Willow Box also one of their shower gels. It’s a little more than I would typically spend on a shower gel, but it’s so fantastic! “Dream” has a nice light scent of Linden, White Tea, Bergamot, and Honeysuckle. It’s ultra moisturizing and has a great lather.
~FlashPatch Restoring Night Eye Gels 5-Pack ($20): I just looked at the Patchology website, and no, I did not know that 10 pm and 12 am are the best times to repair skin! These eye patches take just 5 minutes to restore a brighter, youthful appearance to overworked, under-rested eyes. Plus they feel so good on.
~Nature’s Bakery Double Chocolate Brownie ($1.49): This Double Chocolate Brownie is non-GMO, Dairy-Free and made with “thoughtful ingredients.” It’s also delicious. POPSUGAR does their best to include snacks for a wide variety of diets and preferences which has to be hard work.
~Framebridge $30 Coupon: Framebridge allows you to easily frame just about anything you want. I will likely end up using this, but I am not going to include the value of the card in the box total because you will have to spend money to use it.
~Perpetual Shade Dream On Sleep Mask ($39): We have received a few sleep masks over the years in subscription boxes, but this one is the best. The strap is super soft and so comfortable. It’ll stay on, but it doesn’t feel like you are wearing anything at all. If you aren’t one to sleep with a mask on, consider packing it when you travel for the airplane!
~Jack + Lucy Pillow and Blanket Set ($49.99): LOVE! The information card suggests that this set is compact enough to take on any road trip, long-haul flight or overnight adventure. You could easily tuck these in your travel bag!
Jack + Lucy Blanket: The blanket is smaller than your standard beach towel, so you won’t be able to cover your entire body with this, but it will work nicely to keep your feet warm and toasty! The tag says to spot clean only with a damp cloth and NOT to machine wash/dry. I can’t see myself spot cleaning a blanket, so if it gets dirty (and it will), I’m going to wash it. Probably on gentle and then I’ll air-dry? I’ll report back 😉
~Jack + Lucy Pillow: When I first saw spoilers I thought they included just a pillow cover, but it’s an insert plus the cover! It’s larger than your standard airplane pillows but still, would fit in a carry-on. It’s much fluffier and cuter too. The cover is removable, but again they recommend spot cleaning.
~Special Extra: Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Ointment Body Spray: Ths easy to use spray moisturizes to help heal dry, rough skin. (So far) I haven’t had any issues with it clogging, and it even works when twisted upside down.
~Special Extra: Keurig The Original Donut Shop Coffee K-Cup Pods 6 Pack: We don’t have a Keurig, but there’s one up-north, so I will take these up there!
~Special Extra: Keurig 50% Off Coupon Code: If you’ve been wanting a Keurig (and want to get drinking those K-Cups asap), POPSUGAR also included a 50% off coupon for good for ANY Keurig Coffee Maker! Nice!
~Special Extra: Quaker Overnight Oats in Toasted Coconut & Almond Crunch ($1.60): The final item in the box was Quaker’s New Overnight Oats. My husband will be happy to take these to work!
All totaled the October 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of $132.48. That’s not including the value of the special extras (as they are not meant to have an impact on the box value) or the $30 Framebridge coupon. This is easily one of my favorite POPSUGAR boxes in the past year! I love when they include lots of Special Extras, and this box was just an all-around great fit for me.
